Summary: A delightful giftbook for stay-at-home moms everywhere
Review: 14 Hours 'Til Bedtime: A Stay-at-Home Mom's Life in 27 Funny Little Stories is a stay-at-home mother's collection of insightful and chuckle-inducing true anecdotes. Whimsical sketches illustrate this funny and oh-so-true tour of everything from Feng Shui for toddlers to "15 Signs Mommy Needs a Little More Me Time" (sign #1: You've decided not to wash the red paint form today's art project off your fingers, because it's the closest thing to a manicure you've had all year). A delightful giftbook for stay-at-home moms everywhere.

Summary: I Remember When
Review: Although my stay-at-home mom status is long gone, this book was filled with stories I could relate to. I almost forgot what it was like to have small children at home. These stories had me laughing out loud and remembering when. Remember the name Jen Singer. You'll hear it again...and again.

Summary: This book is a pacifier for crazy moms!
Review: Chasing kids around makes for a chaotic life. Jen Singer's book is absolutely hilarious and speaks to moms like me who are constantly on the run. I bought several copies as gifts for my friends. Parenting is tough and we deserve a good read. This book is full of great laughs--and soothing, too, just like a pacifier to a baby.

Summary: This book is a must-have for all Moms!
Review: Even from the first time I heard about this book from Jen Singer's website Mommasaid.net, I knew I had to have it! The title alone was reason enough to read it, and it was even better than I anticipated. As a Mom of a 2 year old and a one year old, this book makes me feel as if someone understands what I'm going through, day in and day out, during those loooooooong 14 hours till bedtime and sometimes all night too! I laughed out loud when I was reading this; my two year old watched me read it and now calls it the "funny book." It's also the type of book you can go back to and read again for a little laugh during a hard day. This is a great book to treat yourself or your friend to, and the short chapters are perfect for reading in your 2 minutes of free time! Best book I've read in a long time!

Summary: Not just for stay at home Moms!!
Review: I bought this book without knowing anything about it, and was pleasantly surprised by how witty it was. Jen Singer's writings were funny, touching, and extremely entertaining. I did not want the book to end. I would highly recommend this book for all Moms, not just stay-at-home Moms!

Summary: Erma Bombeck of motherhood
Review: I'd like to claim to be completely unbiased, but I'm not. Jen is a friend from college which is how I knew about the book. Back in our college years, Jen had a sense of humor that was rare and VERY funny. She could look at the average and point out the humor. And she always made us laugh.

This book, I'm pleased to say for myself and the five people I bought it for, showcases Jen's humor. I'm not a mom, but I can laugh along with the stories. And I loved the fact that she made the stories short enough that a busy mom (is there any other kind?!) can get a quick laugh in without breaking stride.

If you're looking for a chuckle, laugh, amusing break or a gift for someone that could -- this book will give it to you/them. I'm so glad Jen's humor is spreading beyond those of us lucky to know her. It deserves to be shared.

Summary: Better than tea and biscuits!
Review: I'm a stay at home mum in Scotland and Jen Singer's wonderful book shrunk the world and made me feel like I was having a well deserved coffee break and a laugh with friends from all over the world. As well as being funny, this book deals with serious concerns in an honest, supportive, and deeply perceptive way. It should be prescribed to all mums of pre school children. I'm looking forward to the next one!

Summary: What the doctor ordered!
Review: If Jen Singer's collection of amusing, poignant and spectacularly real essays don't tickle your funny bone, dial up an osteopath immediately--there is something gravely wrong with you. With wit and candor, Singer reveals the sheer stamina and willfully positive mindset the stay at home mom must demonstrate day to day. It's a hoot and a must read for anyone who has made the choice to wait "14 hours until bedtime," with a house full of jubilant, exasperating, precious, demanding, fabulous children!

Summary: Moms United in Humor!
Review: Jen's take on the long, long, long, long day with little ones is true! Trust me, my angels are 10, 9, 5, 3 & 2 and I have counted the hours until bedtime many afternoons.

Jen unites all Moms in the realization that we are all doing the best we can! And if we can't laugh, why bother???

Thanks Jen for your honesty!
