Review: Chuck Leavell has had, and continues to have an illustrious career in rock and roll. From his beginnings in the early 70's with the Allman Brothers Band, to the phenomenal work with Eric Clapton on Unplugged, to the last two decades spent with the Rolling Stones, his musical accomplishments are almost innumerable. Surprisingly, his story is made even more interesting by his love and dedication to his family and his strong ties to the land. In additon to all of his stories of life among the rich and famous, this book recounts his and Rose Lane's work rebuilding the family farm they inherited into a model tree farm, and his evolution into an award winning conservationist.
