Summary: A great adventure for young and old!
Review: This is an excellent story, reminiscent of the "Little House" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Alfred's experiences both in Arkansas and Kentucky remind us that we're all "watched over" no matter what we do. Ms. Barnes has created fully-rounded, believable characters and settings that truly make you feel a part of the story.
