Summary: How much I enjoyed this book and why
Review: *I enjoyed Diamond life very much. what I enjoyed so much was the author Sheila Copeland. She showed that no matter how famous or rich you become, darkness can come and steal your joy.
Also this novel put me on an emontial roller-coaster.
There was nothing I disliked about this book I found this book very entertaining!
Who I would recommed this book to is (teenagers + age 27), I recommend this book to teenagers because teenagers would be able to compare there selves to the artist's.
So Sheila Copeland keep up the good work!

Summary: Absolutely ridiculous.
Review: "Words can be talked into existence?" lol, this book was extremely disapointing. These characters are absolutely maxed out and there was simply nowhere else for them to go. It read like a bad movie. Names of companies affecting real life, people with almost psychic power, the obligatory mother knowing a woman is pregnant by just being around her. And for the record it's spelled Hypnotiq.

Summary: The Saga Continues....
Review: Diamond Life was a great book! If you haven't read the beginning of this series (I guess you can call it that) please do so. The first book is Chocolate Star, the second is A Chocolate Affair and last but not least Diamond Life. The original characters are all mentioned in this book. The book mainly has a focus on Nina and Topaz. Nina had a lot to be thankful for in this book. As usual she came to the rescue of her cousin Topaz, who almost feels guilty about Nina's daughter (which is really hers).. The book did end with some loops that can lead to at least one more book to complete the story line. Sheila if you read this please give us one more to read.. I want to know what happened to Nina and Topaz and if anyone is ever going to figure out that Topaz is the mother of Nina's daughter. Someone else besides Nina, Topaz and Jamil knows the real story.. It's time for that person to come out the closet!!!!!

Summary: ssssssslow and even slllllllower
Review: I loved Chocolate Star and I reread Chocolate Star before I read A Chocolate Affair.

I just recently bought A Diamond Life and reread A Chocolate Star and A Chocolate Affair and after three years I must say I was excited to get back into these characters.

However, after a week of reading A Chocolate Star and another two days of reading A Chocolate Affair, reading the first page of A Diamond Life was disappointing to say the least. I was expecting drama, drama and more drama.

The main characters were the bread and butter and here I was reading saltine cracker material. I proceeded to place this book on my bookshelf and shake my head in disgust.

In A Chocolate Affair there were some sections where I could sense Sheila was rushing things and/or tired. Overall that book was a 3.5. This Diamond Life, however, will be now be A Dusty Life as I can't muster the energy or waste anymore minutes of my life for naught.

Summary: Great Read!
Review: I read some of the reviews on this book and some were disappointed.I'm not!I think Ms.Copeland did a good job with this book.A Chocolate Star introduced us to Topaz,Sean and Gunther.Nina,Jamil,Keisha and Eric were mentioned in those books but I felt that their character didn't have major parts like Topaz,Sean and Gunther.Jade,Sean's wife was kinda towards the end of A Chocolate Star. Now in the book A Chocolate Affair it centers around Keisha,Jade,Topaz and Nina and what's going on in there lives and A Diamond Life focuses on Nina/Jamil and Nina's friends Charetta and Toni and you know the drama queen Topaz is in this book but she's kinda...well in my opinion she isn't much of a drama queen anymore. She's very much into her family. She still has to have the Cristal though. But in a Diamond Life Nina met up with her high school friends Toni and Charetta at there high school reunion and decided to help the girls manage a singing group.Jamil has his own record label called suicide records.Nina decides to go to Jamil to sign the new group on his label but thinks other wise.Jamil's character was shady.Charetta was a straight up player hater and seriously hating throughout the whole book. This book has some drama and alot of jealousy going on.The ending... it could have been better. It's possible that it could maybe be another sequel.Id recommend this book to those who are fans of this series.I feel like these characters aren't maxxed out but are growing meaning like Topaz character, she is a drama queen but she's married to Germain and she's been spending alot of time with family.Nina use to work for Topaz.Nina probaly felt that her whole life centered around Topaz and had to have a life of her own.I bought this book and was not disappointed.Good Job Sheila Copeland!!

Summary: Great Read
Review: Please note that you must read Chocolate Star & Chocolate Affair before you read Diamond Life so that you could learn the background of these characters.

Ms. Topaz, the woman you love to hate is back again along with her cousin Nina. Although Topaz is featured in this story, it basically deals more with Nina. Nina goes to her high school reunion where she meets up with two old friends, Toni and Charetta. The three ladies become involoved in a business deal to manage a musical group of three young ladies. Nina's ex-boyfriend Jamil signs the group to his record label. Everything seems to be going well for the group but jealously and mistrust tears the management team apart.

Not only does Nina have to watch her back with a shady business partner but Jamil has also turned into a shady character as well. Jamil has turned into a ruthless person as he manages his record label Suicide. He wants to sign Topaz to his record label but she has second doubts. Jamil isn't used to being told "no" and he trys to blackmail Nina & Topaz.

This book was a very quick read and also entertaining. It's a page turner from start to finish. Even though I didn't like the ending of this book, it left the door open for another sequel.

Summary: Fun book
Review: The was an enjoyable book. The only complaint of I have, it the price. I don't want to pay $15.00 for a book that I'll finish in three days. I never read the other books that followed before this one. But I really liked Nina. It's too bad Charetta had such a bad attitude towards her. It's also sad how her fate ended at the end of the book.

The most intriguing thing in this book was Nina's cousin, Keisha. She warned Nina, too tell Jamil to change the name of his company, Suicide Records! Keisha said suicide meant murder of oneself. Words are powerful, and bring things into existence.

Topaz is a really good galpal to her cousin Nina.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: This book starts off slow, or was it me looking for excitment due to the title of the book? There were too many characters to get a feel for each of them; however, Nina's role should have been Topez's role. It's Topez who's deeply involved in the singing business. Let's stick to the main characters, since this is suppose to be a sequal. I expected this to be off the hook just as Chocolate Affair (a five-star book). Sheila, please make a sequal and please let Topez, Nina and Keisha have interesting roles. Take this Charetta character (too much attitude, player hater, etc.)out for good, don't let her come back in the sequal. This book could have been better, take your time with the next one. I'm sure to buy it.
