Review: Elliot Antokoletz's book is one of the definitive books on twentieth century music, and certainly one of the most comprehensive. The book exceeds Morgan's book on the same subject in depth and scope, although at times Morgan manages to say much more in much less space. By and large, however, a very effective text on most techniques used in the 20th century.
