Review: Kaplan uses just the right blend of pictures and commentary to make this book an absolute "must-have" for the Barbie doll case collector. From the very first case all the way through the generic early '70's cases, Kaplan has it covered. There are mentions of late '60's vinyl lunchboxes, and she even displays coin purses, pencil pouches, and room/structures that double as cases. It doesn't appear as though she missed a thing in the genre. Kaplan has created a superb and interesting book with realistic prices that will not only entertain and help the reader reminisce; but, it will also have you running to your attic to see if you still have that old case of yours in the corner. Terrific!

Review: This book is absolutely WONDERFUL! I purchased this book to use as a handbook referral guide when I was buying up vinyl Barbie cases on Ebay for my collection. It is absolutely the "bible" for Barbie vinyl cases: the pictures are invaluable, & the information given is gold. If you are a serious Barbie vinyl collector, you MUST have this book--I would highly recommend to any Barbie collector!
