Review: Brazilian rhythms are hot right now in the music world. From Jazz to Pop, Brazilian influence is taking over. I have particulary always enjoyed Samba and Carnaval rhythms which are two stlyes included in this book. Also included are hand rhythms and sacred/spiritual rhythms which have added an amazing new flavor to my music. The book comes complete with a glossary of Portuguese terms which is essential when studying more about these incredibles beats from Brazil. With the help of the CD I have been able to witness my technique and ability to play Brazilian rhythms increase. Alberto Netto is brilliant, and I can not say enough about this book. It's definitely worth every penny.
