Review: In my opinion, this is the best book out there for emerging directors. It was so nicely laid out. I think that it's important to have an appreciation of the whole process, from before the start of a production to well after its completion. What a refreshing change from all the other books out there that start and stop with simply the production part of the process. This should be considered essential reading for anyone who wants to be a director, or who needs a more thorough understanding and respect for the directors they hire. Full of insights about the business, tips on how to handle sticky situations and director etiquette in every situation, this book handles everything the others don't.
