Review: Move over Mr. Martin "grunge-lover" Popoff - this book is the complete bible of Power Metal bands!! I have been a fan of metal for over 16 years and have never seen a book so full of details. ALMOST EVERY Power/True Metal band is represented from more popular bands like Accept , Judas Priest and Iron Maiden to not-so-well known bands like Enertia , Pegazus , Mystic Prophecy , Sonata Arctica and Voice. I always hated when Popoff (a so-called critic) always piped his worthless opinions into his books and was totally off the mark over 80% of the time. This almost 500-page masterpiece has some photos , complete history (including band members & line-up changes) , and complete discographys of hundreds upon hundreds of metal bands and is just a totally awesome wealth of knowledge. Forget Popoff's opinionated garbage (where he includes bands like Smashing Pumpkins , Pearl Jam and Nirvana in a book of METAL - hahaha) , THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE IS THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO MELODIC/POWER/TRUE METAL. GET IT NOW!!
