Review: Not much to add to Seurat's review, except that a few more suggestions for fingering would have been helpful to this intermediate pianist. Some of the compositions are very challenging indeed, others more approachable. I recommend 'Grateful Ghost' and 'Last Rag' for the less-skilled; both are beautiful. Amazon's price is excellent.

Review: These rags are fun to play and sound great. They are of intermediate difficulty, but a few are more difficult. Some of them have interesting instructions for the performer, such as tongue clicking (like a snake), foot stomping, etc. The only gripe is that the binding makes the book hard to keep open. You have to get some sort of clasp to keep the pages from closing. It's maddening, when you're trying to read a passage, and the book closes. It can be overcome, though. Overall very fun, original, beautiful rags. Highly recommended!
