Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: More of the same Review: This book, after all is said and done, is the warren commission and countless other naysayers words coming out of a suspiciously naive drone of a woman's mouth. She is not the first nor the last person to attack Jim Garrison and call him egotistical(among other things). The claims made mostly rely on Clay Shaw and cohorts telling the truth, and it's blindingly irritating how she takes each at his word. Sure, to the newcomer, her work may seem honest and investigative but to the more informed person, she is either incredibly near-sighted, or one of the many people who are paid in one way or another to add to the official cover story. It's incredibly easy to attack Oliver Stone's film JFK, so easy that every casual supporter of the warren commission can't wait to say how inaccurate the film was. But upon further true investigation, without stopping to ask pointless questions like wether Jim Garrison was "polite" enough to those pursued in the case, you find that from things like eyewitness testimony and facts brought forth from documents(even parts of the warren report support garrison's case) are transelated onto film directly. The bulk of what is said in the film actually happened, and can be directly related as such. Of course if you ask a man if he killed someone he isn't going to admitt it, and naturally he will find some way of explaining it otherwise. This is why anyone who asks the CIA or our government who had done it, it's elementary that they would attack Jim Garrison. This book isn't anything very new, I mean Garrison was attacked back when the investigation was still happening, and the points made are utterly redundant. It would be interesting to write a book contrary directly to this one, point for point. But alas you won't have to look very far to find more literature against Garrison and Oliver Stone, so defending against fruitless attempts like this one to discredit him becomes pointless. The bottom line is, the Zapruder film proves that a shot came from the front THUS the official story is false and should have been re-investigated. Of course it wasn't, and it's harder and harder to find the works of Jim Garrison and Col. Fletcher Prouty(Donald Southerland's character in JFK). My questions for the author would be "Have you seen the list of witnesses and others who died mysteriously?", or "You honestly buy the Magic Bullet theory and not to mention the head snaping back and to the left being a reflex?". I mean for the majority of the points she makes there are about 20 more questions raised that are never followed up on. By the way, there are over 50 mysterious deaths surrounding the assassination, coincidence? I wouldn't suggest that people don't read this book, I'd only suggest if you do read it, read "Best Evidence" by David Lifton, any book by Jim Garrison, and most certainly "JFK, Vietnam, The CIA, and the Plot to Assassinate John F. Kennedy" and "The Secret Team" by Col. Fletcher Prouty.
