Review: This is very early Lynda Barry. I have a soft spot for it because it is the first book I ever saw of hers and I was blown away by the art and the sensibility. Those familiar with her stuff from the last 10 years or so, which is big on narrative and text, will find this book strange and dark and minimal; it is observations about dating and adult life, without regular characters. It is a must for the Lynda Barry fan!
