Review: This volume is a comprehensive Rachmaninoff collection containing all his preludes and etudes, including the famous C# minor prelude from his early years as well as his well-known G minor, C minor and B flat preludes; all great music. Etudes-Tableaux are picturesque and colorful, having elements of the Russian melodic style, such as the D minor Op. 33. For any aspiring pianists, this is essential repertoire and the edition & price are fantastic. Nice picture on the cover (Russian domes in the background).
