Summary: Fantastic!
Review: "What Would W Do" is intelligent, thoughtful and hilarious. My favorite part is one of the responses to what W would do if he was captain of the Titanic: "Tell Iceburg it hates freedom." That kills me. I bought this book a little while ago and I keep reading it over and over, sharing it with my friends...it was my best purchase of the summer! You must read this book!

Summary: Please
Review: Can we insult the intelligence of the reader here? Moderate Republicans don't defend a book that is blatantly visceral in its attack. I sure wish the authors would stop writing reviews on their own books and allow people, third parties, review their book instead of the obvious attempt to skew review counts in their favor.

Summary: Fun For the Whole Family
Review: Enjoyable read. Got quite a few chuckles. Even my 89 year old aunt (who is Republican) got a few laughs out of it. A good gift for friends and family - regardless of who wins in November.

Summary: Perfect bed time story...
Review: If you want a constant smile on your face! Bought 4 copies for family and friends because it will do the same!

Summary: Funny?
Review: The only thing that I found funny about this book was the illustrations. W dressed as Batman and Cheney dressed as Robin was absolutely hilarious! However, the jokes were short and mean-spirited, and yes untrue. What makes a great joke funny is to have a little bit of truth stretched to absurdity. I suggest for the two authors to possibly watch some previous episodes of SNL and Will Ferrell's parody of W. Now, that is funny stuff. However, undertones about how W was going to starve children, destroy the environment, and being evil himself is ridiculous and not funny. W has faults, everyone can agree with that, but he is also an everyday guy and making fun of W through demagoguery doesn't get it. Making fun of W and his regular "joe-ness" is the product of true comedic genius (of course he mispronounces NUCLEAR, because half the people in this country do it as well). So, if you are the usual liberal whom sees W as evil and the antithesis of your social desires, then buy this book. If you are a moderate or conservative, buy another book that parodies W. There is better stuff out there.

Summary: Absolutely Funny!
Review: The really funny thing about this book is that "W" wrote it himself. While the parody is broad, it's born out of things "W" actually did or said. WWWD reminds us hilariously that it's OK to hold our leaders to a higher standard - and that "W" just doesn't measure up.

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: This book hits the nail on the head in terms of humor. What would life be like if we all lived our lives like W? Well, we might have a lot more excuses for our mistakes. Cross and Fourie are funny, funny guys and the book is a good one for any casual political junkie or news fan.

One reader wrote that W is just an "everyday guy" doing the best he can. Seems kind of odd to call the president of the United States - the most powerful man in the world, a participant in one of the most historic elections this country has ever seen, the son of a former president from a family dynasty - an "everyday guy." I'd say his status as a major newsmaker and decisionmaker makes him fair game for humor, satire and, yes, ridicule. The authors know their stuff and know how to craft a good joke. Funny, funny stuff.

Summary: It helps to laugh!
Review: This clever joke book is a breathe of fresh air during our strident presidential election season 2004! Jokes are funny and sophisticated-but I doubt George W. would like them too much! My favorite joke scenarios were Gillian's Island and George Washington.

A timely and fun buy.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A breezy, fun read
Review: This straightforward little book is an easy, fun read that besides creating some laughs also provides a pretty pointed attack on George W's competence and moral compass. However, even my republican-voting dad laughed when he flipped through it. The book could benefit from more illustrations/comics!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: GREAT BOOK - A must read!
Review: WWWD gets you to reflect on where "W" is leading us. The book brings to light critical issues in a true and funny manner. Those that can face the truth about W will find it hilarious. This is the best parody of W out there!
