Review: Here we have a generous volume of original Godowsky compositions, including the Java Suite, the grand E minor Piano Sonata and the great Passacaglia (Marc-André Hamelin's Hyperion CD containing the latter two works is highly recommended). A highly informative introductory essay adds good value to the book. For all those interested in Godowsky, this book must simply be explored.
