Rating: Summary: what the heck did i just read!?!? Review: this book is very humorous, and i think that some of the monsters have very humorous descriptions, just like jack skellingtons page, for example, says that his relative is michael moore(ha ha ha) and the hound of the baskervilles has a "lucky" tooth, i didn't find a lot of it funny, but i'm sure that you will!! go ahead! buy it! even though most of it is nonsense it will be a good reference, i guarantee it!!
Rating: Summary: This book could save your life (ha ha ha) Review: This is a rather humorous guide to many populor monster of film and TV. It runs the gamet from the Joker to Freddy Kruger to Dracula to Angel. In each page is a basic brakedown of their qualities: height, weight, family (ie human, ghost, animal, vampire, ect.), habitat, origin, intellegence, first apperaence, relatives (sometimes these can be rather funny, like it says that Jack Torrence <Jack Nicholson from 'The Shinning'> is a relative to Tony Blair), endorsments (also funny, like saying that Norman Bates is a spokesman for Motel 8) and description. This is just a kind of novelty book, relesed just in time for Halloween.
Rating: Summary: great gift for any monster movie buff Review: This is a really great little guide book, to all you favorite movie monsters. With entries ranging from crab monsters, Christine, rodan, stay puf marshmellow man, Orca and Hellboy. I must say this little book hit most of my fave monsters, (as well as some I'd never heard of. Really cute layout making it just like any field guide (if only audobon knew these critters were out there!)described, includes behavior, lethality weakness, powers as well as maps of monster ranges. Definately a stocking stuffer.
Rating: Summary: About misinformation in this book Review: When it describes Dracula's Daughter it says 1933 as the year it was released. Actually that film was released in 1936. Other mistakes too though I cannot recall anyothers right now.
