Rating: 4 stars
Summary: keep in mind that it's UNOFFICIAL
Review: I read this book back in junior high when I was a U2 nut. It certainly satisfied my craving for info. There are fairly in-depth accounts of the band members' childhoods, as well as the backgrounds of those closely associated with the band. It goes through their development through the Joshua Tree era, as I recall. Makes you feel like you really get to know them and what they're really like. Some great pictures, too.

HOWEVER, who is to say that this is all true? I understand that some important things have been left out and that some things aren't exactly true. As fiction, it's a great read. As fact, it's suspect. I gave it less than 5 stars because of the unofficial nature of the book. Take with a grain of salt and enjoy!
