Summary: When will "Grease" ever see "dime one?"
Review: Although Dr. Nino Greasemanelli's sick and twisted brand of humor is best appreciated on the radio, this is still a good book. It's unfortunate that he got such a raw deal from the publisher. Not only did they consistently mispell his name (Greasemanelli is one word, not two), but they also fail to provide a Greaseman glossary promised on the jacket. Still, if you read the book you'll enjoy lots of jokes compiled from "Grease's" bit vault. As good as this book is, if you can you should try to hear him on the radio or listen to one of the tapes compiled by his devoted listeners. A book about the history of "Grease" and his fans would be a great idea to a sequel to this book.

Summary: Outstanding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Fantastic book, could not put it down! Kept me in stiches the whole time I read it. Very true to his performances both live and on the radio. Recommend to anyone who is not in broadcast range...A hearty well done! Great shriekery!

Summary: I still love ya Grease, but......
Review: I guess expected more from this book, but I should have known it would follow the typical guidelines of current trends of comedians (boss jocks) in that it is a regurgitation of his show. Since his show depends so much on his characters, voice inflexion and sound effects much is lost.

Summary: Attention All GREASE fans!
Review: If you want to read an entertaining book that keeps you informed and laughing the whole way through, read this. If he does not broadcast in your area and you want to enjoy a few good stories and get to know the man behind the martini glass, this book is well written and is a good dose of Grease! ENJOY!

Summary: TERRIBLE BOOK --Avoid wasting your money!
Review: This book is a bunch of recylced internet email jokes written as if Mannelli is the originator. Not funny, often tedious to read. The humour is lame consisting of retread jokes you never wanted to hear in the first place. For a book that promises to be an "Orgy of Comedic Wit" it falls way short. The stories within could be found funny for a 12 year-old boy or an 80 year old shut-in. It's hardly worth using to prop up an uneven coffee table leg. I never heard of "The GREASEMAN" before, and I can see why. He couldn't carry Howard Stern's or Bubba's The Love Sponge's luggage. This "clown" is a funny as a knock-knock joke heard for the 10th time.
Don't waste your money or time with it. I purchased mine at a yard sale for $0.50 and read it in the bathroom. Given all of that I still felt ripped off!

I can't stress enough---DONT BUY THIS BOOK!!!--- To sum it up in one word "LAME"
