Summary: Exceptionally Emotional
Review:
I discovered Stefan Mays Photos in the Australian "Black and White" Magazine and was so impressed that I bought his book "Women". It turned out that my first impression was right and that my expectations were not only met but even excelled.
For me as a collector of good black and white photography Stefan May is so far the only artist I know who is able to show naked women in a very emotional way without implicating the lightest touch of pornography. You could get the feeling the women are alive. The photographs are talking to their observer as I never saw it before.
All in all I can only highly recommend this stunning masterpiece!

Summary: Disappointing and very average imagery
Review: Alas the best shot is on the cover and in my humble opinion its very average after that. Nothing new is offered in this book. Sure the subject matter is as old as time but there is not anything that makes the work stand out. (Composition, lighting, etc.).

I wish Amazon offered at least 12 preview shots for books like this, would give customers a better shopping experience. I looked through the book once and then threw it away. If you collect photography books there is no reason to keep something so average.

If you were interested in something that DOES deliver I recommend anything by: Bruno Bisang. You will not be disappointed as he does offer something unique and something that will inspire you rather than not.

Summary: Language of Women
Review: Despite all taken courses and text study into the Psychology of Women at the University of Central Florida and elsewhere, I have learned next to nothing about Women except a conformation of their verbal elusiveness. Brainwise, Men are left hemisphere dominant, while Women are right hemisphere dominant. Both areas of the brain which are responsible for verbal communication, that being the Broca's and Wernicke's areas, are located in the left hemisphere of the brain. Women express themselves using predominantly the right hemisphere. And for that reason, I recommend this book. Women are best understood without words.
