Rating: Summary: Suge Knight Is Hiding Something Review: It's all very interesting because Suge Knight paid for this book to be written. How much did he pay Frank Alexander to take the heat? Why did Suge blow away Tupac? Who else knows about the Vegas assassination? Snoop maybe. These are the questions you have to ask yourself when you read this book. As Snoop Doggy Dogg said, "The Game Is To Be Sold Not Told" Thanks Suge for some good pulp fiction.
Rating: Summary: Detailed! Detailed! Detailed! Review: Perfect, perfect, perfect. This book is very detailed. It starts by explaining the authors life; from his childhood to adulthood. He explains his relationship with the Doggpound, including Snoop, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Hammer, and more. He explains his last year with Tupac, and does it well. After reading this book, you will feel as though you knew Tupac, and will probably gain a better understanding to why he did some of the things he did. It took me a few hours to complete this book--once I started it was hard to stop.
Rating: Summary: TO THE NUMBER ONE MR SHAKUR Review: THE BOOK IS DEEP MAN REALLY DEEP IT IS A GOOD BOK AND IT WAS NOT RIGHT THAT TUPAC DIED "TUPAC SHAKUR REAST IN PEACE"
Rating: Summary: Excellent insight into the lifestyle of gangsta rap. Review: The book is detailed and shares important information about the lifestyle of rap artist Tupac Shakur. I found each chapter equally entertaining. I wanted to read more about Tupac's mom, Afeni Shakur. It took lots of courage for Mr. Alexander to speak so openly about his time working with Tupac and the story is an important one to tell.
Rating: Summary: I really liked this book. Review: The book was better than I expected.Frank really Did good with this for a first book. Then again I'm a really huge Tupac fan so, anything having to do with him I wanna see.I really wanted to see or at least get some sort of Idea of the type of person he was and Frank showed the readers that he was a real person, and not just the monster the Media made him out to be.
Rating: Summary: Thug Review: The two books that did Tupac any justice are "The Rose That Grew From Concrete" by Tupac, and "Got Your Back" by Frank Alexander. Thank you Frank for a book well written. May God bless you and your family! Thug Love.
Rating: Summary: No other so-called Tupac book can compare! Review: This book gives you a walk inside not only the world of gansta-rap but also a very personal side of Tupac that no one else has been able to do. It is so very hard to put this book down once you start. Frank Alexander takes a no holds barred approach towards giving you the input on the last year of Tupac's life. I think no stone went unturned in the writing of this book and I commend Frank Alexander for the courage to do what so many others couldn't or were scared to do. This is the best book for any Tupac fan!
Rating: Summary: its a must read Review: This book is a must read for all the true Tupac fans out there because who better to tell his story than his bodygaurd. This book deals with his life and his death and pretty much puts to rest the non sense of the alive theory. But to the true fans - don't shed a tear because you know he wasn't happy here. Like he says his biggest fear is coming back to this world reincarnated. All true fans must check this book.
Rating: Summary: this book is the one Review: THIS BOOK IS BY FAR THE BEST BOOK WRITTEN ABOUT THE LATE GREAT TUPAC. FRANK ALEXANDER TELLS YOU WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO RIDE WITH PAC. HE TAKES YOU TO THE PARTIES, THE VIDEO SHOOTS AND EVEN PUTS THE READER IN THE CAR THAT HORRIBLE NIGHT IN VEGAS. IF YOU'RE A REAL FAN OF THE MAN, THEN YOU GOTTA PEEP THIS BOOK. GOD BLESS TUPAC..
Rating: Summary: Not about Tupac, it's about Frank Alexander Review: This book rambles on about how great a bodyguard the author is. It's drivel and a work of self-congratulation. And it excuses himself for NOT watching Tupac's back like he was paid to do. A waste of paper. He trashes Death Row, praises himself, brags about going on road trips with Tupac and brags about Tupac's escapades with women ('course, Alexander didn't participate -- yeah right). Brag, brag, brag about blah, blah, blah.
