Rating: Summary: Close up look into the last year of Pac's Life, Classic. Review: "Got Your Back" gives a spectacular look into the final year of Tupac's life, as well as a detailed description of the night he was gunned down. Frank Alexander is clearly not pulitzer material but his insight and commentary are intriguing and his recount of Tupac's more sensetive moments can even jerk a tear or two. Though it's likely the writing of this book put his life in even more danger than it already was it doesn't go unappreciated.

Rating: Summary: True insight into the rap world. Excellent info given. Review: After reading other publications which only tell events from an outside perspective, we finally have what actually goes on inside the rap world, Death Row, and Tupacs real lifestyle and personality that could only be seen by someone that is close to him. The book shows the fascination of being in that atmosphere and how it can attract the most well known not even in the Rap industry and how they can even get caught up in it but also tells you the downside and what people are willing to do. I hope people read this book because there is good information in it. As you can see, the Rap game is strong and powerful and sometimes deadly. It is all to real and don't be fooled.
Rating: Summary: This book captures insight that none of its "competitors" do Review: Anytime you ever pick up a book and read it, you must realize that it's from that specific author's perspective ONLY. That simply means that whether you like it or not, certain ideas and even falsehoods will naturally come across throughout the book. IT WILL BE BIASED... However, I'm certainly what you'd call a true fan of the late entertainer TUPAC SHAKUR, and I've read TONS of literature regarding him over the years, including all of the recent books, and this one's clearly the best. I believe it's the closest we'll ever get to truly knowing what things were like for him during the last year of his life. Everyone who read the other books, and thought they were better--come on now, how could you say that? They contained an enormous amount of innacurate information. Read everything again!

Rating: Summary: Frank you did a superb job on this book Review: Frank I must say that you did an excellent job on writing this book. Every word was so visual..so clear. I felt every emotion, the joy, pain, laughter and tears. While reading about the shooting, and the hospital scene, I could actually visualize it and I felt your hurt. I could feel the passion you had for your work and the commitment to being Tupac's best bodyguard. Once I picked the book up, it was like I was addictive to reading more and more. I couldn't stop reading!! I actually went to bed with this book in my hand reading it. It took about 1 full day of reading this book for me. I just couldn't stop. Frank I know how it is to lose someone very important in your life and I just want you to "Keep your Head Up". Someday we'll alll see our loved ones that we onced cherish.
Rating: Summary: The REAL story Review: Hah, this is great. The real women, weed, and wild times that were the life of Tupac Shakur. It's really interesting to read this. The guy truly was a player.

Rating: Summary: A must for Tupac fans! Review: I enjoyed this book, because it gives the fan an inside view of the life of Tupac. I really enjoyed knowing what a typical day was for Tupac and his bodyguard. The good side of Tupac comes out in this book and that alone is important. It was so seldom seen by the media when he was alive. If your a fan buy it, read it. Enjoy it.
