Review: Geri Halliwell is the best infulence that I have ever had. She has helped me to rise out of depression, sadness, and the worst times of my life. I know that I will always love Geri, she is like a sister that I have never met. She meens so much to me. I don't know what I could do with out her.

Review: "If Only" shows the world just who lies beneath Ginger Spice; a shy, direction-less girl from the poor side of the tracks desperate to be somebody. Her recollections are at times both painful and funny, and the prose is well written. That was one of the nice things about the book - Geri wries like a person putting her thoughts to paper (not like so many others who try to cram as many 'big-sounding' words as possible to make themselves seem smarter). She comes across as an intelligent yet falliable person whose dreams of success came true, and is much the wiser for it.I highly recommend this book (in fact I think that young girls everywhere should read it, if only to discover how damaging false self image can be). I look forward to reading the sequel "For The Record", which picks up where "If Only" leaves off.

Summary: third times a charm
Review: I was die hard spice girls fan when i was growing up, i had bought the Geri Halliwell book, 'If Only' a long time ago, bit i didn't get around to reading it. I mean i started it twice but never finnished it. Well, 5 days ago i picked it up and didn't put it down till just a few minutes ago when i read the last sentance of the last chapter! Normally i hate to read but the book intrigued me. I was really amazed at how well writen this book is, and Geri Halliwell did an amazing job. She is brutally honest in the entire book, whether it's about her eating disorder, or her glamour modeling, or the reasonings behind her departure form the spice girls in 1998. This book is a great read, trust me cause you're getting this amazing review from a person who never reads and doesn't even touch a book over 100 pages! I reccomend this book to any one who is in need of some girl power, or just self impowerment! Read It!!!!
