Summary: GREAT BOOK!!
Review: A book capturing the life and times of Geri Halliwell. A Spice fan may love this book as well but it proves to be a full-force autobiography on the woman formerly known as Ginger Spice. I would not recommend this book to kids, because the truth does hurt. Ginger Spice was a part of the character known as Geri Halliwell. The book shows many different viewpoints of her life. From nieve English girl to a confident superstar. From being a former glamour (nude) model to a television presenter, maybe the suburban moms/dads might want to flip through the heavily detailed pages before they let their kids read it. The book "If Only" is very down-to-earth and contains so many subjects that each of us readers could relate to. After the book triggered many memories of my own, I couldn't help to think - Dreams really do come true.

Summary: Wonderful, Inspiring Book For Young Girls
Review: I think Geri is doing Great on her own, and this book shows that she has "Girl Power" indeed. After leaving the Spice Girls I thought her career was over. But I was wrong. This is definiteley a good book for overweight girls who need inspiration on losing weight a getting in shape without those horrible diets and anorexia. Geri struggled with Bulimia from a young age, and it talk all about her struggle with fighting it, her breast cancer scare, and how the SPice Girls REALLY started. Check this book out..there is tons more inside!!!

Summary: Definatly a book buy for Christmas
Review: This book is amazing. It may not be intirely suitable for children under 12, due to the pictures and some of the language. But it still makes it an excellant read. It really shows what kind of person Geri Halliwell really is. She`s not tarty and stupid but she`s actually really nice and giving and went through a lot, just like we can. This really shows, that fame doesn`t immediatly bring happiness along with it. A brilliant read. Geri Halliwell Congratulations!!

Review: a short review, simply fantastic ive read it twice and gets better and better, a totally different, ingrossing read. Geri rules, I hope she has another biography in the pipeline for 20 years time, shes here to stay.

Review: It tells you a real story about a great and very giving person. Geri Halliwell is a great singer but she is also a very good author! I have been her number one fan ever since the spice girls. This book may not be appropriatte for girls under the age of 12 but it teaches girls my age a lesson about life. I think if you buy this book you will be very pleased!

Review: Geri E. Halliwell has been and always will be my role model for many things. when i saw that geri made "If Only" i knew i had to buy it because #1 i know almost everything about her #2 she is my role model #3 she has had an excitting life and i thought "i can't wait to hear it and see if from her own mind and heart by letters in a book she made." i promise you, whomever reads this to buy anything from geri you can because she is so wonderful and strong hearted my goal is to one day meet her and/or look and act like her for sure. many people say i already act like her so i am sure happy because she is a 100% one of a kind better than any one or anything could possibly be for heart and soul for to stand up for what they believe in and how strong you really are....geri shows all of that and those are 2 of the many reasons why she is my role model!! once again get this book and all her cds etc. and for geri, you go girl!!!!

Summary: A WORD FROM GERI HALLIWELL
Review: I was the classic "If Only" girl. My parents didn't have a great marriage: my mum did about six cleaning jobs at once to keep food on the table, because for every way my Dad fought to make a bit of money, he found two to spend it. "If only," I thought. If only I was rich and famous, everything would be different. I'd be protected, I'd be loved, everything in my life would be alright. I dreamed of living in a Gone With the Wind mansion (big enough for Mum and Dad to have separate wings, even when they split up), sealed off from harsh reality in my celebrity bubble, of making brief but dazzling appearances in front of my thousands of adoring fans. In reality, I mostly had an audience of one -- me, in front of my bedroom mirror, singing Material Girl into my hairbrush... As I got older, "If Only" remained my mantra. I guess I always knew there was a better place to be -- and I desperately needed to escape from where I was. As I stumbled from audition to audition, from rave dancing to 'glamour' modeling ( and glamorous it wasn't), my desperation got greater, my self esteem went through the floor. The one bright spot was when my dad and I finally started to getto know each other, and despite my string of failures, he became my number one fan. When he died,six months before the Spice Girls took off, I honestly didn't know if I'd have the strength to carry on. Suddenly, it seemed as if the five of us couldn't go wrong. We had six number one singles in a row and our first album sold 20 million copies. Girl Power worked! We were the most successful band in the world. I got to buy that mansion, and we did have those adoring fans -- everywhere we went! But by then I'd realised that wherever we go, we take our own weather with us. I learned that true acceptance and happiness comes form within, that fame, while ecstatic, mind-bending and glorious, does not heal, erase or cure the things that trouble us. And that sometimes it takes the most courageto walk away... If Only is my story, but it's also the story of a journey I believe we all share. We belong to the lottery generation, so it's easy to forget that everything doesn't depend on having that winning ticket -- and that success is really about learning to have the courage and strength to help yourself. Review: Well, I wasn't surprised when I find out that her book is wonderful, because she's a wonderful person, in the inside and outside. My dream is to meet her, and her mates, as well. If Only by Geri Halliwell is the book of the year. I recomend everybody to buy it...She's the gratest!
