Summary: Dreadfull
Review: First of all, I'm NOT belittling her book solely on the reason that she's young. I'm belittling it because it's....well, BAD. It's so corny! The girl can't write to safe her life. It's written in the style of a diary of an 8 year old. Plus, she didn't have much to say. If you want a celeb auto worth reading, I strongly suggest you pick up one of these autos: Drew Barrymore, Britney Spears, Jenny McCarthy. They're all young, but they've got a lot to say about the hell they've gone through their lives. (Or the hard work they went through, in Britney's case.) Everyone can relate to that.
Bottom Line: DON'T BUY THIS BOOK!

Summary: a joke of a biography
Review: I can't imagine anyone buying this book because I feel Charlotte Church is too young for the biography to mean anything. "My life so far" implies that the book is not complete, but somehow Charlotte is so great that she deserves to have a book out now. Why can't she wait until she is a little older to tell us all? Many other people have accomplished just as many things as Charlotte and decided to wait until they had more material to write for a book. I would seriously question the value of reading something like this, since Charlotte refers to "mum" and "dad" so many times it makes you wonder about the literary quality. A biography is supposed to document one's life but if you are so young, you really haven't lived. Hence, there is nothing really to document. And consequently, there is nothing really of interest to read in this book.

Summary: VOICE OF AN ANGEL
Review: I enjoyed reading this book. I enjoyed its innocence and sense of fun. I enjoyed being taken to the viewpoint of a teenager. (I believe Charlotte's view is closer to Victorian England/Wales, than an American teenager as featured by the media today ... or am I confusing innocence with Victorian culture?). My only critism of this book applies to other books that I've read recently ... they are begining to sound as if all written by the same word-processor. Gramatical errors and nuances, that can give unexpected insights and color have been removed, and an interestingly seasoned book becomes baby-food.

Summary: A very good book!
Review: I highly recommend this book. Charlotte Church is very good wr writer. It is a truly beautiful book. I'd give it ten stars if I could! She writes with the simplicity of a child that she was when she wrote it, and tells things in simple terms, so many people write things more complicated then need me. It's not supposed to be the great American novel, but an interesting story and diary into a young girl's life. I admiror her honesty in writing it.

Summary: Charlotte's First literary Attempt
Review: I read this book from cover to cover and loved every word and
paragraph. Some people don't like this book because of the style
she wrote it in [like a diary] but I say give the girl a break
she's only 16. I thought this book was very imformative.So I
strongly recommend this book to any charlotte church fan who
wants to some back round info on this gifted child.

Summary: Fun to read!
Review: I really, really enjoyed reading it!

Charlotte is a superb communicator with a style all her own. She has more of a story to tell than any teenager on earth and she expresses it with all the articulateness and charm we've come to expect -- and then some.

I hope this book becomes a best-seller because it is surely one of the most enjoyable, doesn't-take-itself-too-seriously books to come around in a long time.

Summary: Music does flow in her blood
Review: I too am a classical singer, and I must admit that Church might not be as wonderful as the World has made her to be. I do also have to say that I very much enjoy listening to her music and I think she has a lot of potential. Those who give her such low reviews, in my opinion, are jealous and unfair to Church.

As for the book? I thought it was very well written and I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter! I'm 15 and it kept my attention through the whole book. I found her life to be not that of a rich and famous singer/star, but that of a regular teenage girl. Sure, she's got about a million times more than most regular people will ever have, but she lives in a semi-regual way compared to other stars. It tells a lot of interesting facts about how she got started, her family, her home and travels.

In all, I have to say that this was very entertaining. I would recomend this book to those of you who are not jealous of this teenage star and for those of you who like to read about famous people.

Summary: What an Enchating book!!
Review: I was a bit reluctant of picking up another biography because of how they are written. They are not always by the person themself, but written up by someone completely different. I LOVED this biography of Charlotte Church. You could tell it was written by her. I read it in two days. I couldn't put it down. If you want a better glimpse at Charlotte, the regular gal, check this book out!!

Summary: Wow, no talent and no brains either!
Review: I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. Can someone please tell me why so much hype concenring this "child prodigy"? Yes, at 12 years old she was good, however not as amazing as America percieved her to be. Now, years later she's gotten worse, and still everyone fusses about her! and now the next thing i see, we have to read about her life so far? please! she seems very shallow according to this book, to tell you the truth, she doesn't seem interesting enough or have enough depth to her to write a book. she just seems like a one-dimensional money-making machine that once showed potential and now is just something to make money off of. I'm sorry if this is cruel, but that's the price publishers risk when releasing nonsense like this.
