Rating: Summary: If only others read this book... Review: This is like entering the mind of legendary grunge master Kurt Cobain. This will convince you that he did not commit suicide. A Must Read!
Rating: Summary: Book that proves the suicide verdict is a lie Review: After years of doing my own research, mostly online, I had become convinced that Kurt was murdered and the suicide verdict was the product of either lies or an incredibly sloppy, or lack of an investigation at all. This book gives a *truthful* biography of Kurt, unlike the load of lies Charles Cross spews out in 'Heavier than Heaven', in addition to a bio on Courtney Love. It then carefully and factually shows how it was impossible for Kurt to have killed himself, and all the evidence that points to murder in addition to possible suspects (most notably Courtney Love herself, although I believe she was just a pawn in the whole thing.) If you want to learn the truth about the death of one of the most famous men ever, look no further than this book. See how over 60 people killed themselves thinking Kurt did the same, when it is obvious he did not do so at all, and hopefully be motivated to tell other people the truth.
Rating: Summary: A must read.. Review: I thought for a long time Kurt Cobain had killed himself but after reading this book and checking out [a couple of web sites] I am now thoroughly convinced he was in fact murdered. This book is well written and covers the facts that can be substantiated like no fingerprints on the gun, he was already dead of an herione overdose before he was shot, the missing credit card and somebody using it after he was dead, the fact that the only person who said he was suicidal was Courtney. His best friend, band mates and even family members stated he was upbeat and looking forward to the days ahead. He was divorcing Courtney and removing her from his will and then there is Courtney's suspicious actions leading up to the day his body was found. These are all facts that are well documented and have been covered up by sloppy police work and Courtney's attorney's. Isn't it strange that she hasn't dragged anybody into court yet with a libel suit. With her reputation of not letting anybody mess with her why has she not fought these people back with a lawsuit, and we know she is not afraid of lawsuits...maybe because it would bring out the truth and she can't have that? Hopefully this case will be reopened and solved as it should have been years ago. Read it and decide for yourself but if you thought he committed suicide you'll more than likely think much differently after this book.
Rating: Summary: A Must for Nirvana Fans and Those Unsure of Kurt's Death Review: I must say that when i started to read this book i was still unsure of weather to believe the murder theroy or the more accepted explanation for Kurt's death. After finishing this book there is NO DOUBT in my mind that Kurt was murdered. This book explores all possibilities and refutes some claims made by the people in charge of the investigation of the icon's death. It has strong medical evidence to back up its claims. From the begining of the book i was hooked. I found myself completly involved with this book and with every spare minute i was reading it. This is a great book and a must read for all Nirvana fans.
Rating: Summary: I am crazy about Nirvana Review: See people,I never actually read the book but I have seen the documentary "Kurt and Courtney".A friend gave it to me.Sometimes when i am upset I think that somehow I am like kurt Cobain.Because they say he was not a happy man in his life.I read that somewhere.I have every single album of theirs.I soooo crazy about Nirvana that I feel really insulted when somebody makes fun of Kurt Cobain.Anyways we are both Pisces so that's a good thing.Try to understand.....It really hit me when Kurt died!!
Rating: Summary: Great Review: This was a really good book one of the few I read from beginning to end, opens up another door and view to the death of Kurt I think it is a must read for any Nirvana Fan.
Rating: Summary: Will make you think . . . Review: Contains some very compelling arguments and evidence that suggests that Kurt was in fact murdered, possibly by a conspiracy involving persons very near and dear to him. I highly recommend.
Rating: Summary: Immensely thought-provoking Review: I bought this book after searching for Heavier then Heaven by Charles Cross, which has been on the bestseller lists for some time now, and decided to buy this along with it so I could satisfy my curiosity regarding this well-known murder theory. I expected not much than an entertaining conspiracy theory tome, but not the kind of investigative brilliance which I discovered is hidden in the pages of this book. This is a highly incisive account regarding the history of Kurt, Courtney, and the numerous unanswered questions surrounding Cobain's death, which are well laid-out in a very direct, non-preachy, professional manner for the reader to digest objectively. I have always felt there were a number of things left ignored about Kurt's death, and this book has completely aligned my perspective in a highly informed manner. A very good purchase indeed. Buy this book, and learn the mysteries surrounding the death of this rock n' roll icon.
Rating: Summary: Read the book FIRST! ... Then watch the movie! Review: ... On page 197, the authors write: "After the show, viewers and listeners are traditionally asked to call a 900 number and register their votes for and against whatever question is asked on a particular show. At the end of our hour-long debate, the question was posed: "Should the case of Kurt Cobain's death be reopened by the police?" Thousands of people called to vote. The final result was 91 percent of the callers believed the case should indeed be reopened, with only 9 percent dissenting." ... ... You don't even have to read this whole book! ... Just read what is written in 4 places: pages 136 and 137, page 144, page 202, and the Epilogue. ... After doing so, you, too, may come to suspect that, like that other famously talented, blonde-haired, Pisces musician and band-founder - Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones - who also died in very suspicious circumstances, Kurt Cobain's death and alleged suicide may not have been a suicide at all! ... That's all I'm going to say. ... YOWZA! - The Aeolian Kid
Rating: Summary: No fluff, just the facts. Review: I'm very surprised that this was an open-an-shut case of suicide. After reading both sides of this story, I feel I am able to make a pretty objective opinion about this whole thing; Kurt was murdered. You can't explain away the facts in this case. The case needs to be reopened and thoroughly examined by the PROPER authorities. This book was written in an objective manner, that's why I highly recommend it. I've read it more than once; I find it highly intriguing.
