Summary: Amazing repertoire book
Review: Marovic is an excellent writer, and this book contains many instructive annotated games in the opening systems he recommends for black: the Sicilian Scheveningen and the King's Indian. The book is tremendous; written in a conversational style, but in a deep way. It not only provides a repertoire, but instructs you as well. Marovic is such a gifted teacher, that all his books are very instructive. And the repertoire itself is great, makes sense, and will never be refuted. I just recently started playing this repertoire, and I have never had more fun with my chess. Not the best produced book in the world. If you buy one, make sure it is in very good shape.

Review: Marovic is an excellent writer, and this book contains many instructive annotated games in the opening systems he recommends for black: the Sicilian Scheveningen and the King's Indian. The problem is that this was a poorly made book, with the paper that is brittle and easily yellows, and a binding that will badly crease and break. I find that I do not use books much when they are poorly made.
