Rating: Summary: My favorite Tori book Review: Ah, what can I say? Along with Tori, Marilyn Manson and Mozart are my favorite artists... but Tori is starting to really outshine everyone else. There are songs in here that absolutely move me, songs like "Sugar," and then you have songs like Cornflake Girl, which are very danceable. This book has every song on the CD- incliding live tracks. They are, for the most part, well-transcripted, with the exception of Cornflake Girl's bass lines. This can, however, be corrected with some inprov. There are full size reproductions of the photos included in the CD, which is nice. Tori's musical style has changed with this record, incorporating a more electronic, spacey feel. Even still, the emotion is the first thing one notices. Her music is so powerful and outstandingly done that this book has really truly been one of the most enjoyable things I've come across in recent memory. What can I say? I love her, I love her music. Buy the book, play along with the stereo, enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Good songs Review: I was pretty happy with the songbook in general. There are a lot of songs and for the price that is marked it's a VERY good deal. The only thing I was disappointed is that the songs in the live section are not the way she plays live at all. Just a reprint from the original versions. As far as the rest, they're very well transcribed. Very good for the price.

Rating: Summary: ears with feet Review: some of the music in this book is wonderfully transcripted, but then sometimes it is not. it depends on how much the music for the song was centered around the piano. great transcription of Lust, Concertina, Spring Haze, 1,000 Oceans, and some others. I was disappointed with Riot Poof and a couple of other songs though it's ok if you are good at improvising. this is a much better book than from the choirgirl hotel, though there is an excellent version of Jackie's Strength in that.
