Rating: Summary: Hungarian Rhapsodies Review: Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies are challenging, demanding pieces. Ideal for those of you who are advanced/experienced professional pianists. Not suitable for beginner/intermediate pianists because you won't be able to play any piece. I use this book for both teaching and playing. Good layout, good fingerings. The book stays flat on the piano thus you don't need a clip to make it stay still.
Rating: Summary: A great book- layed out very well. Review: Since I am 14 and I am not that great of a pianist, I can't play all of these pieces, but it is fun to sit down and try to learn the ones I like, for example, the Hungarian Rhapsody #2. This book is layed out nicely, and has all 19 or Liszt's published hungarian rhapsodies. (The 20th rhapsody was not pulished). It aslo has the ossia part just about the normal staff, so the reader can compare the two. With over 200 pages of Liszt's greatest works, this is a must-have for all advanced pianists.

Rating: Summary: Beautiful edition with beautiful music Review: This book is GOLD!!!! It was the first book I purchased from Amazon and I have absolutely no regrets. The notes are clear, and it isn't full of too much editorial gibberish...but rather notes to help me understand the music and Liszt's intentions. Don't hesitate, you can't go wrong with a purchase like this.
Rating: Summary: Great for the advanced key-busters Review: This book is great. All 19 Hungarian Rhapsodies in a good edition. Not all of these are my faves, but some are just plain fun to play. I learned the #2 when I wuz in 7th grade. Now I'm in High School, I'm tryin to learn the #6! Again, this is a must-have for Liszt-lovers and for advanced players alike. Buy it.
Rating: Summary: Excellent edition Review: This contains all 19 Hungarian Rhapsodies for piano. I believe it is a reprint from a Russian edition. The fingerings are good, the format is good, but be forewarned-this is not music for beginners! Really difficult music, but Dover hits pay dirt once again for text quality and value!

Rating: Summary: Definitely worth the money! Review: This is a great book for anyone who enjoys playing Liszt, or for anyone who wants some great pieces that are a challenge and fun to play. This edition contains all nineteen rhapsodies in one book, rather than two volumes, which is very convenient and money-saving. Also, although it contains 217 pages of music, it's not extremely large or thick, so you can take it with you about anywhere.
