Summary: Not so special
Review: The printing is pretty poor. Paper is thin. Images are blurry. Text is crazy.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: BEST ONE EVER
Review: Well, I want to thank the new staff of the Almanac for putting together such a special book for Phish fans to appreciate. The Almanac has always been king, despite a faint attempt at competition by other entities. This volume, surprisingly, is twice the size of the last, and contains many more pictures and new sections than any other Almanac I've seen. Some things have changed but the philosophy remains the same: FUN reading about the best band on the planet. Great job guys.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Above and beyond
Review: You probably know that the Pharmer's Almanac is a very complete guide to Phish, with lots of factual and historical information. But what everyone should know is how much character this book has. It's so well-written, so creative, so full of flavor. It's kind of like a Phish show itself. Every page has a surprise. Like a favorite bootleg, you will go through this book again and again and find something different every time. The highlights? Where do I start? Great band history, a piece by Tom Marshall, really good personal stories about Phish shows, a zillion reviews, and a great write-up on each and every song. It's hard to choose.
