Review: Am I ever glad that i ordered this book! 'International folk songs' is a easily acessable compilation of over 160 folk songs from the world over. All are alphabeticaly listed by country of origin and have easy to read music, even for a novice flute player like me! All these songs are quality tunes, most you will already have heard or know of, but there will definately be some new songs to suprise you. This includes traditional songs with guitar tabs, and melody lines from Algeria, Australia, Brazil, Congo, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan and the Netherlands to name a few! I have nothing but praise for this book, it is all I hoped for when ordering, and more! :)
