Rating: Summary: One of the best Beginner Adventures you can get! Review: Getting a D&D game going is never easy, and if you are like me and have limited time and use published adventures in you game, then this is a great buy. If you are not familiar with the KoK Campaign World, have no fear, with slight modifications a DM could fit this adventure into any campaign. What I think sets this adventure apart though, is the main plot. It's not a journey to the center of the dungeon and kill the boss monster. There is a more involved story then that, with elements of mystery, strong chances for role playing, and adventuring in town, wilderness and dungeon settings.Plus the DM has a lot of props. There are player handouts and pictures to show the players. As well for each NPC there is a small picture for the DM to see so you get an idea of what they look like, this enables the DM to be descriptive. Another great thing about this adventure is it's a great launch point for any campaign. And if the players play their cards right, in the end they will have a nice village to use as their base of operations and some substantial ties with nobility. I say buy it and enjoy.
