Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fantastic Undergraduate Introductory Text
Review: This is an excellent, easily digestable introduction to the complex concept of cultural hegemony. The authors present a straightforward but informative overview of the subject, including a review of the important thinkers in the field (like Gramsci, Althusser and Stuart Hall). I used this text in an undergraduate course and it was well received by my students...it's a bit pricey but worth it.
