Summary: I'm Winning Thanks to Scoblete!
Review: Spanish 21 is a lot more fun than regular 21 once you learn the Armada Strategies. I have been getting a monetary edge (Scoblete's term) ever since I read this book! It's wonderful to win and get no heat from the pits bosses. Thank you kindly Mr. Scoblete for writing this book.

Summary: Excellent book about this new game
Review: Spanish 21 is a new game that the casinos have put out to beat the players. Frank's book shows you how to reverse the tables. It is a lot of fun to read and gives you a whole new basic strategy to use against this game. He also shows you how to use comps to get an edge. A really interesting and valuable book.

Summary: Looking to Play New Games? Read these!
Review: Then Amazon is offering you the best bargain you can get. I just finished reading both of Scoblete's books, BOLD CARD PLAY and THE ARMADA STRATEGIES and they were incredible. They give the best strategies for these often casino-friendly games. Scoblete shows you how to reduce the house edge and to take advantage of the casino comping system. This is a great tandem of books for gamblers interested in reading about the "other" casino games.

Summary: praise for the book & game
Review: While on a casino trip, I became interested in the new "off-shoot" of Blackjack--Spanish 21. Since it's not my style to play casino games I know little about, I turned to a gaming writer I have come to trust and enjoy reading--Frank Skoblete. I was not disappointed. Skoblete's book on Armada Strategies is fun, instructional on the game, and has given me one more weapon with which to protect my bankroll during squirmishes in casino-land. If you are a beginner--buy and study this book--it will help you play this fun new game. If you are a seasoned Blackjack player--BUY AND STUDY this book--there's a different basic strategy to Spanish 21 than regular BJ that can make a difference between winning the battle and waving the white flag!

Summary: Information & reviews for Armada Strategies for Spanish 21
Review: Without question the most popular casino table game since the late 1960s has been blackjack. Now a new "improved" version of this venerable game has taken the casinos by storm. Called Spanish 21 or Spanish Blackjack, it is a game that offers many more favorable and exciting options for the players than does traditional blackjack. For example, players can now double down on any number of cards and split pairs up to four times. When a player gets a blackjack and the dealer gets a blackjack -- the player wins and is paid at 3 to 2! The player also wins when he gets a 21 and the dealer gets a 21. In addition, special bonuses are given for five, six and seven card player 21s and various suited and unsuited hands that contain three sevens. These are just a few of the exciting variations to be found in this popular new game. Unfortunately, what the casinos give with one hand, they take away with the other. To offer such wonderful options and still maintain an edge over the players, the casinos have removed the 10-spot cards from the deck (although the jacks, queens and kings remain), thus reducing the overall number of player blackjacks in the game and limiting the dealer's chances of busting stiff hands. Why have the casinos done this? Because traditional blackjack strategies when used against Spanish 21 will result in large house edges -- anywhere from three percent or higher -- and large player losses! That's right -- if you employ the traditional basic strategies against this new game you are sunk! The casinos are confident that this new game will lure players by its dazzling rules and exciting atmosphere -- players who will then proceed to happily lose. They are also confident that they have created a game that the players will be unable to beat even with traditional card counting strategies. But the casinos have not banked on Frank Scoblete's Armada Strategies which can give the players a monetary edge over the game! The Armada Strategies for Spanish 21 is composed of three parts -- the Armada Play Basic Strategy which is the correct play for every player hand against every dealer upcard, the Armada Ruse for maximizing comps while simultaneously reducing risk, and the Armada Money Management system. Remember: players cannot use the traditional blackjack basic strategies against Spanish 21 without giving the casinos a big edge! But if players follow the advice of gaming's premier writer, Frank Scoblete, and employ the Armada Strategies they will turn the tables on the casinos and beat them at their own -- supposedly unbeatable -- game! The Armada Strategies for Spanish 21 is the only book on the market devoted exclusively to this rapidly growing game.

"Frank Scoblete is not only the most popular gaming writer in the world today, he is the best gaming writer! There's a reason for the fact that his books and tapes outsell everyone else's by a mile -- he writes for the players and he's an enjoyable writer to read. When you pick up one of his books, you know you will learn the best possible strategies and have the best possible time as you do so!" ...Rudi Schiffer, associate editor, Jackpot Magazine

"Frank Scoblete is at it again with his latest book (third this year). The book focuses on the relatively new table game of Spanish 21 which is played like regular blackjack except all the ten-value cards are removed from the deck and the game offers several interesting bonus payoffs. Overall the book is very readable, the playing strategies accurate, and the suggestions on how to slow down your play to get more value in comps are worthwhile. Even though it's not possible to gain much of a statistical edge in the game (even with card counting) Scoblete does a fine job explaining the book and presenting strategies for the masses of casino players who may want to play it some day. You'll find Spanish 21 tables in just about every casino and if you want to play, don't until you read Scoblete's book."
