Rating: Summary: Honestly, a COMPLETE guitar guide! Review: I've been playing guitar for about 8 years...and I still can say this book is great, because usually a player only focus on..duh! playing...this book covers...guitars (in ALL aspect), amps etc...manteinance, (wiring etc...) a lot of stuff that you would not learn just by yourself...TIPS, TRICKS etc...also a huge section of how to play different music genres...from Salsa to METAL, (truly metal) not as most books...this book keeps your mind fresh...from the easy to the more complicated stuff...I recommend this one!
Rating: Summary: Throw away your other books Review: What a wonderful book, a bit large to carry around, but otherwise it will take the place of several books you may have, or are about to buy. Well written , great photos, truley a one stop deal. The repair and setup section is very easy to follow, unlike some of the better known books. The music in the latter half is great. If you start at the front and work your way through , you will have learned what it has taken some of us 20 years to accomplish.

Rating: Summary: NOT too bad! Review: When I found this book, I was interested in this since it has many beautiful pictures, also has scores, and nice explanations for them. However, I'm an intermediate player. So, I don't need this. The book tells all kind of guitar-knowledge. I recommend for beginners. That's it. I'll never read it again.
