Fingerpicking Guitar Solos: With CD

Review: The thing I really liked about this book is that the pieces are really fun to play and listen to. I've found that fingerstyle tunes often are just elevator music, especially at the instructional level, but these are really cool sounding. As the description says, it's for intermediate-to-advanced players; it doesn't teach fingerpicking skills, but what it does is give you some great material to use to propel yourself from the advanced beginner stage on up there. The chord diagrams at the beginning of each piece are extremely helpful, and the tab is clear and concise. The songs cover an array of styles: boogie, blues, rag, classical, and country. I've looked all over but haven't found a better intermediate-level book for the fingerpicker.
