Summary: Not his usual stuff
Review: This book is nothing like Dr. Moody's previous works, so it's receiving lower ratings. Personally I liked it and gave it a higher rating because it should be read even if he doesn't come out and say, "Yes Virginia, there is an afterworld." To sum it up..... Dr. Moody never thought LIFE AFTER LIFE would be as immensely popular and groundbreaking as it was. This is his "appendix" to that work and he says so several times. Essentially what he is saying is; the "debate" on NDE has stagnated so let's go beyond whether life is a continuum or simply a waste of time. Let's explore why these experiences have effects which are often life changing. He then goes on to make fun of the principle antagonists in the "afterlife debate".

If you want a book or video which supports the idea of an "afterlife" this book isn't for you, stick to LIFE AFTER LIFE. If you want a book that explains where Dr. Moody stands today on the "NDE debate" then this is the one. Remember he's going to be making fun of those who are narrow-minded and he's not going to come out and say there's proof of evolution on more than just a physical level. But he is going to explain why he is at least interested in the mystery of the paranormal.

Summary: A Complete Waste of Money
Review: This book is so full of diatribes, rancor, jealousy andslander, it makes me wonder about Raymond Moody. I was hoping to beuplifted and enlightened. Instead, I was sickened by this. I also wonder why Raymond Moody took this long to address issues about his books and problems with the publishers. I really think Raymond has lost it.

Summary: Give me my money back!
Review: This book WAS difficult to read and understand because it was so poorly written, very verbose and it took all I could muster to put up with Raymond's bitterness. Talk about childish name-calling. He really lost my respect.

Summary: An Interesting read
Review: This book was very difficult for me to get through. Raymond Moody uses alot of professional jargon that goes way over my head. I was tempted to quit reading it a few times cause my mind was doing that not-allowing-anything-to-land thing that it does when I don't "get it!" But since I have had experiences in the past for elaborate "setups" with either books or movies, I figured I would give this book the benefit of the doubt and finish it. I'm glad that I did. He ties it up real nice and you get the feel at the end that.....you still don't know if there is life after death - which is really the truth and I admire him for taking himself off the "expert pedestal" and admits it! For how can anyone whether they have had an NDE or not say anything as a fact? And who can you believe anyway? Only yourself and those who have had the experiences should believe only themselves. We need to sit quiet and listen to our inner self and believe that which we hear. That is what I am going on for I have had no such experience and know of no one that has.

I had never thought of it before but I guess you could say that when you really get right down to it - I do ENJOY reading about NDEs and certain medium's books and past life regression stuff for the entertainment - what is wrong with that? I have been reading about this stuff for years and years now and it feels good! It feels good and right to me right down to my toes! Therefore I believe that it is more possible than not! But then again I won't really know until I die!

I will never argue for NDEs, but I will argue for the right to believe in them if that is what you feel is right.

And that is what I got out of Moody's words. But then again that is what I got out of it and that's what is right for me. Plus the ending chapters were so ENTERTAINING!

Summary: A complete waste of my money
Review: This is my third attempt to find out why none of my reviews are posted. You seem to get my complaints. I have ordered hundreds of dollars worth of your books and feel I'm entitled to enter and post a review.

Summary: BRAVO,,,Finally the schemers exposed by a legitimate source.
Review: This is the first book of Dr.Moody's that I have read, as I have had 3 NDE's and do not FEEL the NEED to profit from it, as I feel is 99% of all the junk that is being published. The Omega Project by Dr.Ring is an objective NEAREST to the truth of the NDE.I am hoping this small book will be added to all the $ maker's libraries out there profiting from REAL persons who are seeking LIGHT in the darkness..Thank you, Dr Ray...
