Rating: Summary: A good example of pure stupidity and misrepresentation Review: From beginning to end the book treats opinion as fact and the few factual errors pail in relation to the people who claim that conservatives wish to poison the air and water. This book is worthy of recycling as the lining of a bird cage, unfortunately, that would offend many birds.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious! Review: A fantastic book devoted to the debunking of 100% of Flush's bloated diatribes and alleged "facts". A very readable, extremely funny, and desparately needed shot in the arm of a society that is becoming increasingly lazy when it comes to questioning the both the information placed before them and those who deliver it.
Rating: Summary: Only the truth hurts Rush Limbaugh. Review: This book brilliantly shows the fallacies spouted by Rush Limbaugh, the man with no credentials. I read the book and I listen to Rush's disinformation program for as many hours as I can. Where is Edward R. Murrow now? It doesn't matter though since Rush won't go into debates because he has no control over his inevitable loss. Read and weep Dittoheads! Your Non-conservative Non-Liberal friend, an Independent voter and thinker
Rating: Summary: more claptrap by "wanna be writers of humor" Review: A gross misrepresation of an inciteful(and inciteing) man
By J-school liberals who do not know how to check facts.
To boot it,it wasn't funny.
Rating: Summary: Methodical debunking of Limbaugh using his own words. Review: Mr Limbaugh did not register to vote until he was 35 years old. He never voted for Ronald Reagan,a man he considered the greatest President in his lifetime. He avoided the draft although being a staunch supporter of the Viet Nam "war".
The evidence convicting him of gross deception on a daily basis is incontrovertible. A small percentage of Limbaugh's endless list of mistakes - ranging from the careless to the malicious - are documented here. Rush, of course, refused the offer to debate the contents of this book face to face with the authors.
That is his style. He is exposed here for those who needed convincing of his buffoondom.
Rating: Summary: Another case of Rush Limbaugh envy... Review: This is just another case of Limbaugh envy. After reading this book it is obvious that the author has never listened to Mr. Limbaugh. There are many inaccurate statements in this book. It would be refreshing to have someone that has actually listened to Mr. Limbaugh and then try to point out any inaccurate statements. It is a cheap shot to have to put Mr. Limbaugh's picture on the cover just to sell his book
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: This book exposes the inaccuracies of Mr. Limbaugh very well. It is a must for anyone critical of Rush or anyone who wants to de-program a ditto head
Rating: Summary: This book stinks! Review: Steve Rendall has no grasp of the truth whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend this book to ANYONE!
Rating: Summary: The Way Things Should Be Review: This book is like going to a fast food restaurant, it is fast, cheap and tasty yet you know the nutritional value is not the best. I am not a fan of Rush, thus my book choice, so reading books like this that spell out many of his errors are just a laugh a minute to read. If you have even found this book then you are probably also an anti Rush person and regardless of the content, as long as it was somewhat negative, you are going to like the book. This book should fit that need. To be fair the book is not really negative, other then a few funny shots at Rush's ego, the book is very fair. It simply takes statements Rush has made over the years and spells out the truth. The authors list out their sources and from where the Rush comment came from. I guess my only complaint with the book is that given the Rush comments where simple sentences, a Rush supporter could always make the claim that the comment was taken out of context. To avoid that I would have liked the authors to add a bit more of the Rush words before and after the comments. Yet this is a small complaint on my part and does not really take away from the enjoyment of the book. Toward the end of the book I started to appreciate a comment the authors started the book with. They stated that although they could list literally 1000's of errors, they were going to limit the book to 100 given that any more and the reader might lose interest. I certainly felt that I had hit my limit toward the end of the book. As I read the book I kept hearing Rush in my head and after about 100 pages, it was all I could stomach. Overall the book was a nice time waster, not too heavy and fast and easy to read. Did it provide any deep though or interesting conclusions about the effect Rush has on the current Republican Party or the public as a whole, no. It just laid out many of his more bone headed comments. Would this book change any minds, again I doubt it. If you dislike Rush then you will get a kick out of the book.
Rating: Summary: The truth about Limblob Review: This book is an excellent read. It exposes Libaugh for what he is: A lying, racist, sexist hate-monger. I would suggest this book to anybody who has a dittohead as friend and pass it on to them and just see the looks on their faces when they realized they've been had all this time by this big, fat hypocrite.
