Rating: Summary: Good 4 L.I.M.P.! Review: This is their first album, and I must say, it is excellent. The Songs "Counterfeit," "Pollution", and "Faith" are the best highlights. I could find no flaws.
Rating: Summary: Best CD I ever owned! Review: I had never heard of limp bizkit and i popped this cd in and now they are my no. 1 fav. band!!! The remake of faith is awesome. Definitely a great choice for rap/rock lovers.
Rating: Summary: If you call this emotion... Review: ...then you my friend, live in one sorry state. I mean, listen to how bad these lyrics are, even BEFORE they became Carson's pet! Fred is rapping about skateboarding in Stuck! And fans call this the most emotional song! The only half decent song this band has ever made is Nobody Loves Me, only really because of the opening and quiet parts. I also like the CD's bad recording, except for the fact that the guitar and DJ can't always be differentiated, but it is Wes. Not only that, but Fred contradicts his own words. In Stink Finger, he's supposedly singing about how much his neighbor hates him, but if you piss on his gate, OF COURSE he's going to hate you. And Fred talks about how all of these people copy their band in Counterfeit, but these days, he supports it. And Fred's voice is at its highest on the CD, coming very close to breaking the sound barrier and my eardrums. Not only Fred, but the music is ridiculous. First of all, some fans are calling this punk and metal. There is no such thing as a punk or metal band with a turntablist. That makes them cheesy rockrap. Not only that, but the lyrics are sung in a rappy style. Unfortuneately, this is how modern punk lyrics are sung due to the lameness of the non-mainstream bands these days(Bigwig, MXPX, etc...), but the turntablist thing completely overrules it. Also, none of the actual musicians have talent(Being a DJ doesn't exactly qualify as music). Wes Borland isn't even playing chords here, and he is using a seven string guitar...what a piece of junk, buy a six string. Instead, he plays about two notes. In recent times, he has moved up to about three or maybe even four. But still no chords. Sam Rivers is a decent bass player, but I have a friend who could turn him into chuck roast any day and he's only in 10th grade(And as a matter of fact, his brother is a guitarist that could turn Wes to chuck roast and in 9th grade...as am I). The problem is, he is playing a five string bass. Instruments with extra strings seem so poserous...just buy the normal four string. Still, he's just okay. John Otto uses the same beat in every song and can't keep a consistent bass pedal. Need I say more? So for all of you who say this band was "good in the old days", my friends, you are wrong. This band didn't have any talent to begin with. It's not even loud. If you want real punk or metal, try Dead Milkmen, Botch, Black Flag, Meatmen, Dead Kennedys, Propaghandi, Tub Ring, or Refused. That is all.
Rating: Summary: Their Best Offering Review: This CD is perhaps the best offering by a band who's front man is as down to earth to his fans as can possibly be. Fred Durst's voical limitation is pushed to the extreme and every track is full of emotion and energy. I could really feel the hatred and misunderstanding in the first and second tracks. In addition, I could feel Fred's feelings abandonment on the sixth track. THE GOOD: EVERYTHING. It's all good on this album, there is not a bad thing about this album. From lyrics to production, every little detail is masterfully composed and blended together. THE BAD: 1) THE LAST TRACK. Some might say that the extended last track is too long and that the band ran out of material so they took the easy way out instead of writing more songs. This is an arguable point. 2) LANGUAGE. This album has some seriously foul language in it and therefore, under the current censorship of music, will not be buyable buy the kiddies;... If you call yourself hardcord then you should already own this album and have listened to it 45 billion times over. For those that do not have this album, stop calling yourself hardcore until you get it. This is one of the few albums that I consider a "must have" for any collection. Nice work Fred and the rest of Limp Bizkit.
Rating: Summary: LIMP BIZKITS WORST CD Review: I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING THAT THIS IS LIMPS BEST CD."CHOCOLATE STARFISH AND THE HOT DOG FLAVORED WATER"AND"SIGNIFICANT OTHER"WERE GOOD CD's,BUT THIS WAS A MAJOR EMBARASSMENT FOR LIMP BIZKIT.THERE WERE ONLY TWO REASONS THAT I DIDN'T GIVE THIS CD ONE STAR.1:"FAITH" IS A GOOD SONG OFF OF THIS CD.AND 2:I'M A BIG LIMP BIZKIT FAN.THIS IS A HORRIBLE CD,AND THATS COMING FROM ONE OF LIMP BIZKITS BIGGEST FANS.
Rating: Summary: In-Your-Face Debut Review: This CD is a really great debut. It has plenty of songs all metal fans should like, like "Pollution", "Counterfeit", and "Nobody Loves Me". Although it gets slighty stale towards the end (right after "Faith") with mostly filler ("Stalemate"), anything before that is in-your-face awesome. If they would have just made songs 2-7 and song 9 and made it into an EP, this could have been one of the finest pieces of rock. But even though they didn't, it's still pretty cool. Favorite songs: Pollution, Counterfeit, Stuck, Nobody Loves Me, Sour, Stalemate, Faith
Rating: Summary: Too Much Yellin' Yo... Review: This Limp Bizkit album is okay, but not really. I give it 4 stars because of it's yellin' and screamin'. It's a PAAIINN to everyones EARS E-A-R-S Fred. My fave song is Counterfeit.

Rating: Summary: Whoa, Thats different Review: I already owned Sig other ant cshdfw and i expected this to be the same. man was i wrong. this cd is much more extream and hardcore and i love it.
Rating: Summary: Without question Fred's finest work Review: Limp Bizkit may have become the worst sellouts ever with "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water" (except for Wes Borland, who was unhappy with Fred's actions), but "Three Dollar Bill Y'All" will always be the band's best CD ever. It's a perfect example of the naked rage that's been fading from a few rap metal bands today (Hed P.E. for example, though they're still a good band). Wes Borland and Sam Rivers's guitar and bass work is raw and relentless, just like John Otto's drumming, which is the most technical ever done in the band's career. DJ Lethal's turntable work is also impressive and a little atmospheric (especially in "Everything"), but the most memorable member on the CD is the frontman: Fred Durst. His voice may sound whiny at first listen, but he's acting emotional while rapping. And it's super-catchy. Even with his ear-crushing screams, you can almost picture the bloodshot rage (which he once had here) in his eyes. Every track on here is good, from the chord-crushing "Counterfeit" to the beautiful, eerie atmosphere of "Everything", which will be great to relax to after jumping up and down to the beat of the heavier songs before it. "Pollution" is an awesome opener, and "Stalemate" has a great intro with a hawaiian-sounding guitar (before kicking into a faster pace later). "Sour" is a classic with lyrics that are actually pretty funny, just like those in the moody, slow-paced "Stink Finger"(which IS NOT rip off Tool's "Stinkfist" in any way as some LB haters claim. It's just about a neighbor that made Fred's life miserable). Bottom Line: Check out this CD. Even if you dislike rapcore, its worth a listen.
