Rating: Summary: Positive Role Models Review: I have been a fan of heavy music since my teen years, and still am now in my mid-twenties. Truthfully I don't even own this album, and frankly, I never will. My reasons? I saw Limp in concert with Ozzy, and was getting into their music which I'd never heard before, when I noticed that throughout the set the lead singer consistently degraded women, calling them names and then getting some cognitively delayed female to take off her clothes and dance around on stage. If misogynism is a marketing tactic for y'all, I'm sure you've lost many a sale from intelligent women who don't appreciate being treated like dirty diaper cakes at a concert we paid good money to see. I didn't pay to get called a easy pants pupett. Just because you have the short man complex dude, don't take it out on us. Screw you. You probably are as ___ as a 3 dollar bill.
Rating: Summary: This is the BEST album I've ever owned Review: I listen to it all the time. It is jazz, rap, and rock all jumbled up into one. Instead of just one constant beat with every song, it is all sorts topics, and you can feel every expression through Fred's vocals, Sam's bass, Wes's guitarz, and John's drums. It always hypes me up when I listen to it. I would really like to recommend this alum to everyone; it's not just for one type of person. I would like everyone to own this album.
Rating: Summary: Rocks more than Korn Review: This is the best debut album by a band ever rivaled only by the Stone Temple Pilots and Jimi Hendrix.
Rating: Summary: Talentless hacks make me sick. Review: After hearing this album, I had the sudden urge to drive to the dentist to have all my teeth yanked---without anesthesia. My thinking was that, since I had suffered so horribly at the hands of this band, a little more pain wouldn't be so bad at all. The "songs" all sound the same, which is to say bad, and the lead singer's voice has all the musicality of a rusty chainsaw carving up a blackboard. People with plants or pets shouldn't buy this album, because the former will die and the latter will go mad and bite their owners. Avoid this album like the plague!!!
Rating: Summary: Three Dollar Bill Y'All is phenomenal! Review: This hype-loaded debut album kicks it off with an incredible song-- "Pollution" (after the "Intro" of course). After you hear this song, you'll be dying to hear the rest of the album. Overall, this album was very good, especially "Pollution," "Counterfeit," "Stuck," "Sour," and especially "Clunk." If you are on a border line about whether to purchase this CD or not, you should definatley get it because it's filled with in-your face power from Fred and the other guys from Limp Bizkit. If you like Korn, then Limp Bizkit, "Three Dollar Bill Y'all" is definatley a MUST BUY! Other bands you might be interested in are Rage Against the Machine, Tree, Downset, Deftones, Coal Chamber, Sevendust, and definatley Helmet. If I didn't have the CD already, I'd buy it off Amazon.com right away. It's a powerful and awesome album.
Rating: Summary: They are truly an awesome band! Review: When I first picked up Three Dollar Bill Y'all when it first came out, I couldn't stop listening to it. I have been listening to Limp Bizkit for over a year and a half and I still listen to their album constantly. They are one of my favorite bands right next to KoRn because they have a unique sound and a great vibe. This album is one everyone should own. Limp Bizkit rocks.
Rating: Summary: The epitome of funked up metal Review: This album is the most complete and effective fusion of rap, funk, and metal that I have ever heard. While the influence of their buddies Korn can certainly be heard, this is even more over the top in its funkiness and slammin' rhymes. For anyone who wants to be blown out of their seat. Some great slower grooves as well. And the cover of George Michael's "Faith" just tops it off. An amazing album.
Rating: Summary: this album rules Review: This is the best. I listen to it all the time it never leaves my cd player. The music is so powerful you can feel it in every bone in your body. The instrumental at the end of the song Everything is awesome its just relaxing. Im so glad i bought this it the the best use of my money. Limp Bizkit will always be good no matter what
Rating: Summary: These Guys Are NOT Counterfeits Review: Limp Bizkit is a refreshing new sound that mixes hard core rock with hard core rap. With this combination, Limp Bizkit creates an amazing sound that has been ignored for too long in today's music industry. If the occasional flow of profanity doesn't bother you, then this album is well worth the money. After all, compared to Limp Bizkit, everything else is "about as real as a three dollar bill!"
Rating: Summary: Awesome rap-metal combination Review: Limp Bizkit is one of the best bands at making the rap-metal combination work well. "Indigo Flow", "Sour", "Stuck", and "Pollution" are probably my favorite tracks on this album. Fred Durst can really bust phat rhymes... :P Only the closing track "Everything" drags it down -- there's simply no reason for it to be over 16 minutes, 6 minutes would have been enough.
