Summary: Nothing special, but a decent listen
Review: The Ross Robinson produced _Three Dollar Bill, Y'all_ is not nearly as bad an album as Limp Bizkit's successive albums might lead one to believe. Although this album may not be overflowing with musical talent, it's not terrible. Some of the songs come off as being useless filler, but songs like "Stuck," "Pollution," and "Nobody Loves Me" are enjoyable. However, for some good rock-rap type stuff, you're better off checking out bands like Shootyz Groove and Stuck Mojo.

Summary: Not Good Enough To Be Called An "Effort"
Review: I'm sorry if I'm offending Limp Bizkit fans, but there is no talent or effort put into this CD at all. Many of the songs sound the same, and Fred Durst is one of the worst vocalists I have ever heard. His screaming is tired and repetative, along with his "rapping" skills. He always whimpers instead of singing, and he is always either out of tune or coming in at the wrong time. Wes Borland's guitar playing all sounds the same, and the simple riffs give way to pathetic drumming by John Otto. He is one of the worst drummers on the scene today, and I know of many, many underground and unexperienced drummers who can drum better than him. He never seems to try anything new with his set, always the same rythmns. DJ Lethal's scratching is always the same; he has turntables and they should be used in more than one way. Sam, the bassist, is the only band member that is decent. He can actually play bass, has an explosive live talent, and is in time with the rest of the band whereas the other instruments are all slurred. The lyrics are all brainless, and they prove the utter stupidity in the music. The sound quality is extremely poor, sounding like a demo tape that's been played one too many times. The demo of Leech sounds exactly like the rest of the CD, and I can't tell the difference really. Indigo Flow is really stupid, and if they were going to do this song, they should have forgotten liner notes. If you hate Limp Bizkit now and say their old stuff is better, well you're wrong. They've always been bad, and aren't worth checking out. The only song I like on here is Pollution (with the intro.). Use your hard earned cash on something else.

Summary: Better than S.O.
Review: This CD is so much better than "Significant Other". It has so much raw emotion! The best songs are "Pollution", "Counterfeit", "Stuck" and "Leech". Although I disagree with anyone who said that Limp Bizkit sold out. "Significant Other" was good, too. Just not as good as this one.

Summary: The most hated rock band...
Review: Fred Durst was right at the MTV Music Awards- Bizkit is the most hated rock band in the world. Why? LB songs are as formulaic as those of NSYNCH or the Backstreet Boys. They sound too similar, and Durst doesn't help despite his fervent attempts to tell you he's quite aggressive and has had a hard life with say-nothing lyrics. Big deal. I have no doubt that Bizkit and KoRn and their numerous clones will continue to rock the charts, but one day this CD will look as out of place in your collection as that Slaughter album you've been hiding away.

Summary: Not great Bizkit material, but it was a start
Review: Limp Bizkit debuted with Three Dollar Bill Y'all in 1997. The music is uneven in Dollar Bill Y'all. When I bought it I was expecting it to be like Signigficant Other (much better than Dollar Bill Y'all), you know some hip hop here some heavy metal there. But I understand that this is their debut album, but that's no excuse to put just heavy metal on every track. The music is too loud than their second release. Significant Other is alot more toned down than this garbage material. Fred Durst sings like a pyscho in this album. You really can't understand what he is saying. The gutarists and DJ Lethal are wasted on this album, you can't hardly hear them over Durst's crazy singing. This album is okay, but not a classic.

Summary: Very Good
Review: In my opinion, this is a very good debut for Limp Bizkit. Thistitle includes heavy, garage-type, thrashing, music. The hard-core hip-hop stlye is a cool new kind of music. Yet, the only problem I have with the CD is NOT bad lyrics, NOT the screaming and yelling, but TOO SHORT SONGS. The songs are GREAT, but it would be nice if there was a 5 minute "Pollution" or "Counterfeit".

Otherwise, this CD was great. I recommend you buy it if you are a heavy metal fan.

Summary: Don't be fooled "Faith" is not the only good song on this Cd
Review: Almost everybody has heard "Faith" and just started going crazy. It is that kind of song. In my eyes, it might be the best song of the ninties, but it isn't a song that you just sit down and listen to over and over. That is why you can't be fooled and think that "Faith" is the only good song on this Cd. The whole Cd is great. You can listen to every single song over and over and never get bored. This Cd is great. I love it and I know all of you do too.
