Summary: Reasons for Having
Review: Buy one for the home. For the office. For the top of the commode (at home or at the office). Anywhere someone may ask "Hey, you, buddy...what's so hot about being gay, huh?". Conveniently gym-bag sized, too. Buy one for your parents. Your brother. Your sister. Your sistah. Your babysitter (well...better not). Your florist. Your favorite Southern Baptist. Your cat. Buy one for that gal you're seeing, that you just haven't gotten around to telling yet. The list goes on and on. Just buy one, already!

Summary: I hated it. So ridiculously stereotypical
Review: I bought this book a couple years ago, and I must say I definitely agree with the reviewer who gave it one star. There were a lot of things that either seemed to be stereotypical or I just didn't get. I'd give it zero stars, but that's not an option.

Summary: It opened up a new life for me and my lover
Review: I cant believe how much this book has changed my life! I picked up this book for a joke but I found it hard to put back down. It inspired me so much that my life has now changed. Me and my partner Sharpey have discovered a new Gay life and are enjoying a ravishing sex life. This book has been the best thing that ever happened to me! 5 star!

Summary: Up too late
Review: I didn't get enough sleep last night because of this book. I thought I'd read a few pages before going to sleep and ended up reading it cover to cover. Many of the 501 things rang true for me, and I laughed out loud many times (I guffawed at least twice). I love this funny little book. Now I'll let my partner read it (after all, I gave it to him for Christmas!).

Summary: Not so great "Great Things" book
Review: I should be able to say 503 great things about a book with a title like this. But in reality, I have one great thing to say: it didn't cost me an arm and a leg so I don't feel so bad tossing it on the shelf and forgetting about it. Sure, some of the "great things" were funny and I'll probably be saying "I wasn't born gay. It was sheer luck" for a long time, but much of the book is based on ridiculously outdated stereotypes. I give it one star, but only because Amazon wouldn't let me skip that question.

Summary: I loved it
Review: I thought I knew alot of fun things about being Gay, but this really does take some beating. I especially liked the section about 'What you can do with a tied up Frazer!' and 'How to convert people called Bob and Tobyn to being gay the legal way' and 'How to convert people called Frazer to being gay the ILLEGAL way'

The book is great and can't get enough of it.....

Summary: A peek into myself....?
Review: My mom and I were shopping and she picked up this book, opened it and started laughing away. It so happened she had opened it to the "you can always say the right words in at least one other language" and, seeing as I speak four, it fit me perfectly. We drove home laughing (even had to pull off the road once) at the really true (well, at least to me) witty aspects of Gay life. I think my favourite is surely: I didn't choose to be Gay. I just got lucky:) Though I'd probably be better described with "you look like a Ralph Lauren model" or "you can dance". Girlfriend...you'd better buy this, it's fabulous.

Summary: It made me laugh out loud. A lot.
Review: Not a single dumb cliche in the book. I spent a lot of time reading these to friends, and they loved it too. I really recommend it.

Summary: Helping me accept who I am!
Review: The best thing about being gay is my boyfriend Jordo, he is really sexy in his g-string. That is definetly one of the 501 best things about being disgustingly gay. The other 500 can be found in our room at night. This book has inspired us to broaden our horizons on three somes.
