Summary: GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK
Review: This was a pathetic attempt to make money by stealing Dr. Phil's picture and putting it on a book. Don't be tricked like I was, Dr. Phil had nothing to do with this book and it is a major waste of paper. It is hard to write a boring book about a guys life when the guy is as interesting as Dr. Phil but these ladies managed to do it.
this book was nothing more than a bunch of made up storues and I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Summary: The real inside scoop we never read about in the media!
Review: Two reporters set out to write a fair, honest book on the phenomenon that is Dr. Phil. But how were they to react when the TV shrink's people decided she was just out for dirt? This book tells all, and what a story. So often we don't hear the real story about celebrities, not the dirt, but the real story of how mean and cruel and threatening they can be when the media tries to learn the real facts about their lives.

After an article about Dr. Phil show appeared in the Kansas City Star, a reader tipped one of the reporters off to Phil's hometown connection. She found an old yearbook containing a photo of McGraw dancing at his high school prom. She tracked and telephoned the girl in the picture.

"I knew you'd find me some day," the woman who answered the phone had said. Lisa had a scoop: A first wife whom McGraw never mentioned, even in his most confessional moments in his books or with Larry King.

This book is a very good look at how the media is manipulated by rich celebrities like Dr. Phil. But this books tells the truth. Finally. I wonder why the media did not review it when it came out? Blacklisted by the lawyers for Dr Phil? Weird. This is an important American book.

Summary: Not for Dr. Phil fans!!
Review: What is wrong here? This is not a book for Dr. Phil fans! Unless of course you like getting made fun of. For people who have not already read this there is a an entire section that makes fun of Dr. Phil's Life Laws. I have no idea why they included this section in a 'supposed' biography. It is simply there to make fun of Dr. Phil and anyone who takes what he says seriously.
I am beginning to think that the only reason they said Dr. Phil fans should buy this is on the off chance that we are too stupid to know the difference between praise and vindictive criticism.
If you like Dr. Phil, don't waste your time on this book.
