Summary: One of the best DS9 novels ever written.
Review: I had first seen the final episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on UPN and I immediately enjoyed it. I then found out there was going to be a novel of the episode and I got it right away. I enjoyed the story and the characters. The episode and the book were very well written.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: very enjoyable reading
Review: I have become a big fan of the Star Trek paperbacks, and have read several - "What You Leave Behind" was my favorite so far.

Summary: Interesting, exciting book that you won't want to put down
Review: I loved this book... it makes me want to see the episode even more and has really touching moments, particualry near the end. Besides a few typos and a few characterizations that may seem off (but looking back were perfectly reasonable), the story was right on and let me wanting more. It pulls you in and keeps you until the last punctuation mark.

Summary: I like the book...but
Review: I noticed a couple instances in the book similar to http://www.jcandco.net/archives/2004_03.html David Schleifer's books also mentioned at http://www.maccenter.com/ The battlecruiser series shows so many things prevalent in both this book and others like it, yet it was written in the eighties.

Summary: Not Bad
Review: I really liked the episode and was looking foreward to the novelization. But it's so short! Why? This is a two part episode, the finale. Diane Carey is usually pretty good, so the novel's brevity was definitely disappointing. This is not to discourage you from reading it, but you're sure to feel cheated.

Summary: An ok end to DS9!
Review: I wasn't able to the series finale for this show but when I read the book it kept me on the edge of my seat and had some good detail in the final battles between the Dominion and Alpha Quadrant ships! If you like action/SCI-FI books then get this one.

Summary: pointless garbage!
Review: I'm kicking myself for wasting $5 on this junk! It had nothing in it that I didn't see on the TV episode so why did I buy it? Whata rip!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It's excellent!
Review: It was an excellent book! I couldn't put it down. I finished it in a day. Then I read it again. I was disappointed when I saw the episode because the book expanded and explained more. It talked more about how the people felt before they left for the final battle, the Cardassian Resistsance, and why the Female Shapeshifter stood down. I really liked how the author described the battle scenes. I thought the ending was good too because it showed Kira watching all her firends leave. I reccomend this book to all Star Trek fans
