Summary: Cory Publishing Couldn't Have Done it Better!
Review: This book is just superb! Beautifully bound and with a gorgeous dust cover, I almost expected to open it up and find that it had been printed by Cory Publishing!!!!Lots of great pictures, list of cast from day one, and a terrific running story line (albeit out of necessarity abreviated but nicely done--boy that was a job!) of the years of the show from 1964-1998. Plus there's a family history of most of the prominent family lines in the show as well as comments from cast members. I would have loved to have seen a show yearbook of individual pictures of everyone (I've forgotten the faces of some of the actors who played the same part and would have enjoyed seeing them as they appeared then) but this book goes a long way to satisfy the fan. I wholeheartedly recommend fans buying this for their book collection. I found myself going "oh yeah I remember that!" throughout it. Thanks for the memories Julie! BTW I sent a copy of this book to a dear friend of mine and fellow AW fan who lives out of state and with whom I've spent hours in person and on the phone discussing the story lines with. She absolutely loved it too. I think it makes a great friend gift.

Summary: My #1 soap opera now cancelled!
Review: Another World will be cancelled as of June 25 1999.NBC is making a new soap called Passions.I heard that the actors of AW will never work for NBC again.I am happy because AW fans won't see AW actors and that means NBC will be a low rated network.That is what NBC gets.I wish I could tell them that getting Passions is wrong thing,even though Passions creator is good on Days, it does not mean he will be good on Passons.The reason he was good at Days is because he played with Deidre Hall.And DAYS was a popular soap.I will miss the soap opera that I loved for 21 years.And I also heard that ABC may pick AW for the year 2000.Dont write letters to NBC, write to ABC to pick up ANOTHER WORLD.I also hope that Another World 35th anniversary book was published after NBC cancelled the greatful show.So write to ABC to pick up AW.They need at least 1000 letters.I will never forget you AW!

Summary: An incredible review of my favorite soap!
Review: Another World was by far the best show on television, and after 35 years it was regretfully cancelled. Luckily you can relive all the best moments of Anoter World. There are plot synopses from 1965 (Pat Matthew's illegal abortion) to 1999. Although I wish this book had been published after the last episode so we could get the complete story. There are cast remembrances and great photos! This book will help you relive your favorite memories of this truly memorable show!

Summary: Another World is a total class act, unlike any other!!!
Review: I have watched AW for 27 years. I work hard and like most people, have little free time to myself. AW is something I ALWAYS make time for. I am so upset that it has been cancelled. I won't watch any other soaps, I'm not even watching NBC anymore. There are save AW pages on the net, fans are writing letters and emails to the networks, Proctor & Gamble, and to newspapers and talk shows to show our support. Get involved and help us save our show. If not, at least we are voicing our extreme displeasure for being overlooked in the interest of grasping for the money of immature viewers. Last time I checked, I was the consumer! How did we go from baby-boomers to generation X? How did our turn get skipped? I am sure I will treasure this book, it's a shame that the history is ending like this.

Summary: It is the Best.
Review: I am extremely saddened upon hearing that NBC decided to cancel the best soap on t.v. The writing and acting on this show is far superior than Days of Our Lives (I have been a loyal fan of both shows) . It has always been fast paced and did not drag the story out. The writing was alway far superior than Days. They did not have to repeat and repeat the same lines over and over. The stories are more believeable than Days. Days continues to support bad people always winning out. Another World's characters are far better than Days. The lines and expressions used are so funny. Another World should have brought back characters like John Hudson, Sharlene and made better story lines for excellent characters like Donna. They could have done great things with her. Also Cass. He was the best!! I will miss the show and hope another station would pick up the best soap on daytime. I have been a fan since the show started, 35 years.!!! If it lasted that long, doesn't that tell you it was the best?

Summary: Didn't read it yet - just ordered it - can't wait to get it!
Review: I used to watch this Soap with my Mom when it first went on the air. She used to sit down from 2:00 - 3:00 for a rest before returning to her housework and starting dinner. We had 5 children and my Mom used to go to work at Alexander's when my father arrived home from work. That little break was just enough to energize her.... Well enough about that. I remember the first Rachel, now Dorian (I think on General Hospital) and Steve Frame. And who remembers this scene in a phone both with a frantic woman, it was Susan Sarandon. Wait, that wasn't Another World, I think it was another soap not on the air. I'll remember the name at 2 am. Also anyone watch the Doctor's. Alex Baldwin was Billy Altrige and Kathleen Turner was Nora. I could just go on and on. Back to AW...How about when that evil woman kidnapped Rachel and took her to St. Croix? That was in 1980 I think. How about that hot stuff Catlin??? Well can't wait for the book, I'll write more after the pictures and stories jogg more of my feeble memories. Review: This book is vital for all AW fans! It contains beautiful photos and storyline descriptions dating back to 1964, plus a detailed cast list and many other wonderful features. What a shame that AW has been cancelled; it is better than ever, and deserves to remain on the air. Whatever happens with the show (pick-up by another network, or not), you will want to have this book to help remember the many great years and all the effort that everyone at AW put into making the show.
