Review: Ah, yes, the bridesmaid's dilemma. Even a credit card company has addressed in in a recent ad (Mastercard "Seafoam Dress"). Face it, 99% of bridesmaids' dresses are horrible -- to make the bride look better?? This book is a great gift.

Summary: A Refreshing Change to Traditional Gifts
Review: Anyone who is getting married should definitely buy this book, my sister is going to give them to her bridesmaids along with some other trinkets........I saw Rebecca in People magazine twice! Along with other celeberties who have receyled there dresses also. What a great cause, too. My mother is a breast-cancer survivor and Rebecca surely is using her talents and her bridesmaids dreses to the best of her ability to help many cancer patients. Thank you Rebecca. Keep up the good work. I loved the scuba diving picture, it was my favorite! I would be honored to have a bridesmaid that was in my wedding use the dress that they wore(no matter how ugly), in such a wonderful way. How truly flattered the woman you wore this dress for must be. She sure is lucky to have a friend like Rebecca! Keep up the great work.

Summary: Revenge for bridesmaids everywhere!
Review: Humorous reading for any woman who's been a bridesmaid and has been forced to buy that "special" dress that now hangs in the back of the closet. Rebecca's wacky take on ways to recycle those hideous dresses is both entertaining and tempting. Best of all, she's done many of them herself. A great read, and a perfect gift from a bride to her bridesmaids!

Review: I bought this book for one of my bridesmaids, in whose wedding I was also a bridesmaid. She kept assuring us that we would be able to "wear that dress again," so when it was my turn I thought this would be a funny gift for her at the rehearsal dinner. The book is not quite what I was expecting. I thought the pictures would illustrate the funny suggestions, but the pictures were just wierd. They were just pictures in the dress in different places, not what I had in mind, but it was too late to return it and order another.

Review: I gave this book to my bridesmaids, along with a more traditional gift. The two who had already been in 5 or more weddings loved it! They both have the closet full of pouffy tafetta and chiffon in a rainbow of colors they didn't look so great in and will NEVER wear again. I tried to keep the dress I chose for them simple and not "bridesmaidy" but if they will never want to wear it again, at least this book will give them ideas of what they can do with it. A fun gift for your bridesmaids and to keep the bride in touch with the fact that no matter what she thinks, her bridesmaids will more than likely not like the dress she chooses. But at least now, they have recycling options.

Review: I must have missed the joke. I was encouraged by all the good reviews this book received so I bought one for each of my bridesmaids. I thought they would get a kick out of it. But after flipping through it boy am I glad I didn't pay full price. Thankfully, I purchased the books from an Amazon seller who was selling it for $3.00 per book. I definitely don't think it is worth the full price of $8.95. This book is just one of many gifts I am purchasing for my bridesmaids so I think it will be a cute add-on gift but it has very little substance for the book to be anything other than a "stocking stuffer" filler type gift. The pictures weren't very funny; rather, they just looked staged as if Rebecca just put the dress on to take the picture and then would be taking off the dress as soon as the camera clicked. I don't think Rebecca provided much useful (or even funny) information as to what to do with the bridesdress after the wedding. Who knows maybe my bridesmaids will like the book so I will still give it to them rather than return it. However, I advise: buy the book if you can get it very cheap and if you are giving your bridesmaids so many other great gifts that they won't care if they receive a useless one also. Otherwise, save your money.
