Summary: Welcome to the world of Morrison!
Review: As a die hard Morrsion fan, I admit when I first heard of this book, I questioned it. When I received the Lost Diaries Book One, I read it cover to cover in one night..then read it again! This book brings you steadfast into the world of the living Jim! Moments of poetry combined with story telling make this a brilliant read! A must for anyone who enjoys Jim's writings. I enjoyed it so, I paced at the mailbox waiting the arrival of Lost Diaries Two. Again, I read it cover to cover and again! The authenticity has no choice but to make one wonder..is Jim still with us? And if he isn't..who is the creative mind behind this work? You are immediately drawn in by the words and poetic flow of each and every page. Waiting patiently for Book Three. Jim, if your out there...perfection! If you are not the creator of these words..Kudos! Mr Pierce for a fascinating journey into the living world of Jim Morrison. I HIGHLY recommend these books to anyone who is looking for a read..a journey to another place. Wprds on page that can make your mind travel are not just words..it is art. SS NYC

Summary: Never Found
Review: Don't be conned like I was - I though I was buying genuine lost works by Jim Morrison. This is just pure baloney dreamed up by a fanatic. It's not even good! A man as troubled, vociferous and omnipresent as Jim, could not live in quite exile. I only read a few pages and that was too many. Face it - Jim "Broke on Through" in '71 ... "The End"

Summary: I LOVED it!
Review: I loved this book!! Man, it is GOOD! The next one is coming out cause there is three. Can't wait. The site for the book is cool too, www.thelostdiaries.com

I think it is Jim. If anything this book helps show Jim was a GREAT person. So, what the hell is the problem?

Summary: CAPTIVATING!
Review: I read these books (Lost Diaries Vol. I and II) and I was blown away. I am a quasi-Doors fan, but on the advice of a friend, read these volumes. I must say, I am uncertain as to whether these are Jim Morrisons "own words" or not, but they offer a different perspective on Jim as a person. Morrsion was indeed a rock icon, but also a man. These diaries allow you to see that, to see the man. I highly recommend these volumes to anyone who enjoys good literature. Allow me to also sing praises to Marshal L Pierce for his editing (and possible authorship :) Exceelent reading page after page. Who ever wrote these volumes did a great job! Summary: could be written by jim... but we all know he died in 1971
Review: I was intrigued by the title. I ordered a copy of this book and read it entirely the evening it arrived. I was captivated by the stories. I wanted to believe this was truly Jim. It sounded like Morrison to me. But I've been to his grave site. Morrison died in 1971.

If this is not really written by Jim, then this author/editor knows Morrison well.

Even though I don't believe Morrison was alive during the time period these entries are supposedly written, I still look forward to subsequent volumes as promised - the cover page says this is Book I of III. These diary entries are as close to the real Jim Morrison as you can find. Real or not, if you're a Doors fan, this book is a must read.

Summary: Jim Morrison is dead - live in fiction - but realize it
Review: I'm not going to say don't buy this book. This book is fiction - if you like that kind of read - then by all means it probably is enjoyable. A nice book for daydreaming. But, for God sakes, don't buy into the myth that this individual is still alive and actually wrote this. Mr. Morrison unfortunately met an early demise due to a constant abuse of his body. It happens all the time - read the obtiuaries. His organs were subject to the same physical laws and consequences we all are subject to. Sad but true.
