Summary: Mind-Stumping Mysteries
Review: I am a huge mystery and puzzle buff and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I tend to do a lot of business travel and killed a good many hours cracking these cases on a recent overseas trip. Passed the book on to my 12-year-old son and he loved it too. Hoping another volume comes out soon!

Summary: Hours of fun!
Review: I received this book for my birthday and I've played it with kids and grown-ups and everyone has a great time trying to guess the mysteries. I'm planning to bring it on the plane when the family flies to London for the holidays. FYI, there's a second version of this book as well, though I don't see it yet on Amazon.

Summary: More like 2 second mysteries...
Review: My wife and I bought this book, thinking it would be fun to read together for upcoming holiday travel. Well, we tried a number of the mysteries and solved them so quickly that we really didn't have much fun in the process. (Note that I would not consider us to be above average in our ability to solve puzzles - there are no Einsteins here!) Maybe there are ones we didn't try yet that are more difficult, but we lost interest and put the book on the shelf. I remember years and years (15 or more ??) ago reading a similarly themed book called something like "More 60 second mysteries" that was much more cleaver. I wish I could find a new book more like that one.

Summary: Far Too Easy
Review: The only fun my friends and I had with this book was guessing how to solve the mystery before we even finished reading it! These were incredibly easy for us, and did not help pass the road trip time. Thirty seconds will be spent solving each mystery, not in the reading of it. I'd love to see something harder come out...

Summary: A reader
Review: This book is a great way to pass the time. I'm a puzzle person and didn't think the mysteries were too easy. True, some are easier than others, but all are fun and entertaining. Maybe the other "cleaver" reviewer should consider a job as a PI or something. There's a new version out (Volume II) that is just as good.
