Summary: YOU REALLY NEED TO BUY THIS BOOK -- SERIOUSLY
Review: If you're interested in pop culture -- actually, if you're interested in culture at all -- read "Wannabe."

You may not think that there's a lot to be taken from Jamie Kennedy's story, apart from maybe a few laughs. But look hard at these pages. Not only are they smarter, funnier, and much better-written than any other recent offerings in this genre -- they're truly profound.

The insights offered into Hollywood and the world of comedy specifically -- but also into life and the issues of goal-setting, expectation-management, and personal satisfaction more generally -- are sharp and provocative. I could go on, but by this point, you're either going to do yourself a favor, or turn "CSI" back on.

Put simply, Jamie Kennedy and his co-author Ellen Rapoport have a rare and special genius: they will make you think deeply and profitably about who you are and where you're going, and make it so much fun you're likely to wet pants in the first 100 pages.

Summary: Inspirational, honest and really funny
Review: Jamie Kennedy does a great job showing you the ins and outs of Hollywood and taking you inside his very funny, somewhat twisted mind. At the same time his story is totally motivating and has encouraged me to follow my dreams/ A great read.

Summary: Hilarious and Honest
Review: Jamie Kennedy's memoir is a perfect mix of candor and humor. A must-read for anyone trying to make it in Hollywood - or anywhere else, for that matter.

Summary: a testament to persistence
Review: So I saw Jamie Kennedy's face on a book while trotting down the biography aisle of the local bookstore.

I flipped through it, read a passage that involved flour and water, took note of the blurbs on the back, and decided I needed to read this thing.

Folks who can speak honestly and with a dash of humor about horrible things that have happened to them always appeal to me, and Kennedy certainly fits the bill.

If all of this stuff is true, God love the guy, he deserves any good times he gets -- if it's a work of fiction (partial or ortherwise) it's simply hilarious... either way, it manages to be more than a little bit inspirational - a testament to persistence.

I enjoyed this book as much as Bruce Campbell's.

Nuff said.

Summary: A book for all ages!
Review: So my mom just finished reading Wannabe yesterday. She's 71 years young and she absolutely loved it too!! I kinda joked with her saying that she probably didn't understand some of the sexual parts, but she said she did!! She then handed the book over to her sister who's two years older than her and the two of them both watched Jamie on Play for a Billion last night too!! This goes to show that Jamie attracts audiences of every age group with his talent in both acting and writing! There's no generation gap when it comes to JAMIE KENNEDY!!! LONG LIVE JAMIE!!!
