Summary: does anyone know?
Review: There is another book by Jerome Hines called "This is My Story, This is My Song," which I have been unable to find anywhere. In it he apparently speaks of experiences that changed his life dramatically. Did anyone read this and can comment?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Should be required reading for all Singers
Review: This is a fabulous book. I have read it several times, and I still learn something new each time I pick it up. What an opportunity to read what the great masters have to say about their art. It should be required reading for all singers!

Summary: Wonderful insights by accomplished vocal artists
Review: This is a nice book to read for one looking for basic ways of how different singers sing--how they approach it technically, emotionally, physically, spiritually, etc. This book will not teach you how to sing, but it will provide familiarity of great singing icons of the past half century, and if you read much, if not all of it, you will learn that there is no one right way to sing, everyone is different. Enjoy.

Summary: Superb book giving priceless insights into singing.
Review: What to say about this book?

Jerome Hines, in my view one of the great singers of this century, in his long career as a professional singer, got to work with and meet some of the greatest voices in recent history.

Mr. Hines got responses from these great artists, and collected them in a book as an inestimable resource for the rest of us, and I am truly grateful for having had the chance to share in what they brought to the world of music and vocal performance.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in vocal performance or vocal pedagogy, or anyone who would love to read about some of the great voices of our time having a friendly chat about their lives and art with another great artist.

Summary: Interesting look at the best in the field!
Review: With wit and wisdom, Hines interviews the cream of the operatic crop, discovering the secrets to their vocal successes. The interviews are succinct (a few pages at the most) and add a fascinating dimension to the best in the business. I would most definately reccomend this to any singer or opera buff!
