Review: "Clerks" is amazingly funny for comic, movie, or sci-fi fans alike. "Chasing Amy" is Smith's return from the failed "Mallrats," and it is great to see Smith's world unfold. It's funny and a fast-read with great story of independent films. The included "Bluntman and Chronic" comic by Mike Allred (Madman) was great, especially for fans who never saw it in the film. With Smith's success growing larger with "Daredevil" and the upcoming "Dogma," people should read (or see) Smith's work at his best.

I give it ten or twelve stars!

Review: Although Kevin Smith does have a way with dialogue, I thought Chasing Amy was just plain gross and offensive. Graphic description of sex scenes between two women doesn't interest me. Although I appreciate mature considerations about sex, I find his toilet humor approach to sex much like that of a horny 12 year old who's spying on his sister in the shower. I will never go see any of his films again. And Joey Lauren Adams' screaming approach which she called acting in the movie didn't help much either...

This book covers every edge of the two movies even the sceens that were cut out but realy should have been left in. If you loved the two movies you WILL love this book and with the things that were left out of the movie it is going to be a whole new experiance. This book is also for anyone who has never seen the two movies, with the deep plot and outragous humor you should be laughing for hours and hours.
